[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo Legion 5i fits perfectly to me. When it comes to performance, powered by Intel's latest processors and NVIDIA GeForce graphics, the Legion 5i delivers amazing performance across different games and rendering tasks (AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion). Absolutely love the Lenovo Legion 5i’s design. The laptop shows a balance design between aesthetics and gamer-center components. The minimalist exterior design with Legion branding abundantly shows a professional vibe, making it suitable for both gaming and professional sessions. The customizable RGB keyboard adds flair without being overwhelming, while the robust build quality ensures durability through extended gaming sessions. The Legion 5i's display is a visual treat for gamers. The Full HD IPS panel boasts vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent viewing angles, ensuring an immersive gaming experience. With a high refresh rate of 240Hz, gameplay feels buttery smooth, offering a competitive edge in fast-paced titles. While gaming laptops are not typically known for longer battery life, the Legion 5i holds its ground admirably. With moderate usage, including web browsing, streaming, and light gaming, the laptop offers respectable battery life, ensuring uninterrupted productivity on the go.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to take my games on the go. Back panel ports are great, especially if you have a lot of peripherals. The screen is bright enough for use in well-lit areas, though maybe not sunlight. Keyboard feels surprisingly crisp despite not being mechanical. The AC adapter is quite large & heavy, and only one of the two cables comes with a velcro strap (I made a second one myself). Runs hot, but that's expected from recent generations of Intel CPUs and a discrete GPU. Battery life with the GPU on is less than an hour (and seems to be less than 4 hours when in use with GPU off) but that is the price you pay for powerful components. Don't take it anywhere without the adapter & cables unless you're going right back home after, and don't bother turning the GPU on unless you're plugged in. This is a desktop replacement laptop, so it is large, heavy, and should be plugged in while in use. If that is the kind of product you want, then this is great choice.
Final note. Installation of a second M.2 2280 NVMe SSD was straightforward and does not void the warranty. Be careful popping off the back cover, and look up the maintenance manual before you start so you can identify parts. The 512GB drive it ships with is insufficient, but I had a spare Samsung 2TB drive sitting around to add when it arrived. They frequently go on sale for about $100 USD, and it's a great addition.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best laptop for the price. Only issue is it seems to have the bare minimum for RAM. This is one of the more premium options which is concerning. it would be acceptable for a laptop for less than 1k but at this price range the ram is 40% dedicated at startup. Either there is too much bloatware hidden on here or it is under specked in ram. Bedsides that everything is exceptional and will be expanding storage on here myself. Not a negative. 1tb is well enough but need more space and appreciate the ability to easily add more storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The touch pad is a little hard to use because the the left and right click buttons are part of the pad, so that when you try to right or left click on the touch pad, the curser moves to a different area of the screen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 Intel (16") with RTX™ 4070, and I must say that it exceeded all my expectations in terms of performance and design. This gaming laptop is an absolute powerhouse, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I work in graphic design and it is perfect for my design program needs.
