Super solid bag. As a retired product developer from the outdoor industry who focused on bags Thule is my go-to for travel and urban bag. Great team there!
I purchased two sizes. The 90 is my bag for week long road trips for fly fishing. The 70 for shorter excursions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got this for a five night trip from America to Copenhagen, and I can't be more pleased. I packed over 50 lbs of clothes and gear into it, lugged that around on my back, and the bag felt like it could handle anything I threw at it. Can't wait to use it for ski and road trips.
Two notes: the olive green can accumulate some smudges in airplane cargo holds, and the bag can carry so much weight, carrying it can wear on your back if you're as old as I am (47).
Still, it does everything I ask.

"Rugged" bag failed with light use while camping

I went camping with some friends and put this bag and another by Mountain Smith in the back of truck. It was resting against other bags and when I got home, I saw a rip in the end, with only light use. I have been tossing bags into trucks and cars forever and this is the first time I had a bag fail, and it is disappointing for one touted as "rugged" and more expensive than competitors offerings. I have reached out to Thule on this and they say this is "wear and tear" but this bags should not have ripped. Super disappointed. Will not buy again and will tell others to avoid as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The damage you describe sounds like something that would be covered under Thule's limited lifetime warranty. We have contacted you via email to finalize that process and replace the duffel.

Great Size and Durability

This bag was everything I expected and more. The quality and workmanship is superb. I'm able to fit everything I need with room and no worry of a blowout.
