like that this unit is quieter, and increases power when needed

We already had 5 Alen units in our house and have been very happy with their quality and performance. We decided to try this newer Breathe Smart unit. We placed it in our open living and dining room area which is a large area. My husband immediately noticed that this unit was quieter than our other A350 units. I also liked the particle sensor that is monitoring if extra air purification is needed at times. The one area that I would recommend is to create different front panel options/ colors to match with people's decor. Right now it is a very large plain white plastic covering, and it is a fairly large unit so it stands out a bit in our living room.

BreatheSmart Air Purifier Flex HEPA

Although the purifier worked to keep dust down, it did nothing for eliminating or reducing chemical contamination in the home.

Hi Carol! I'm so sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with the Flex! Unfortunately, it's not designed for chemical control as the filters do not have enough carbon to remove chemicals from the air. For that concern, we recommend the Fit50 or Classic BreatheSmart.

Love the unit. Does a fantastic job on the first floor. The auto setting does a superb job. Smoke and cooking odor simply disappears.

2nd Hand Cannabis

We live in an older, not so well insulated duplex, which has a No Smoking on the premises clause in the lease. The people in the lower unit smoke dirty cannabis daily. (dirty = i.e. moldy/cut with something/mixed with cheap tobacco, something nasty, etc) It penetrated our unit so badly that all of our fabrics including rugs, upholstery, clothing, linens, bedding, and even our pets fur smelled badly. After several hours of being away from our unit we could still smell it on our clothing and skin. We experienced physical symptoms of headaches, scratchy throat, indigestion, insomnia, nausea, and at times vomiting. We spoke with them several times asking them to curb their indoor activity as it was making us physically ill. After admitting that they were smoking and didn't stop we ordered the Alen BreatheSmart HEPA Air Purifier and things have been much better since. It took the filter about 4 days to clean our unit's air. Now we will notice when the neighbors light up with a brief whiff of their foul pot, the filter kicks into HIGH and the odor it eliminated. Our family and our pets seem much happier. Our teen aged son will sometimes come into our unit, stand by the filter, and inhale deeply stating that it feels like breathing in pure Oxygen. We LOVE how this filter has cleaned our living environment and raised our standard of living. Thank you Alen!!

Amazing air

We bought two of the air purifiers—breathe smart and fit50. They have made an incredible difference in our basement and kitchen. The basement often would smell damp and musty—that smell is completely gone. We also dealt with some moldy smells in the kitchen—again gone. Setup was a breeze. Very impressed

I NEVER KNEW A LOVE LIKE THIS!

Until I bought the breathesmart 100 sq ft with the odor filter there were many things I didn’t know. We live in an energy home in the Arizona desert. We get frequent mahout wind dust storms and many days of blowing gusts wind storms. I’ve had allergies from back east that were seasonal. In Arizona a always had clogged throat with coughing episodes daily. Nose drops every day that couldn’t open my nose to breathe. Dry eyes that would swell up. One sneeze started 20 consecutive sneezes wheezing from my past asthma conditions. Well 4 days of using these gift from God machines. My throat is now clear. My nose no longer needs daily drops.. I can breadths through an open nose with 95 percent hunk gone from within. I sneeze once or twice and stop. The cat odors from 3 cats disappeared and the hair gets sucked up in the filters. The cooking odors in an energy tight home clear out faster without turning on the whole home exhaust. The fan noise, I hate any noise is smooth and calming after the unit cleans out all the dirt and dust on auto. On a scale of 5 these units are designed at a 10 and work 10plus. I bought 1 unit then added 2 fit 50’s for the bedrooms and a t500 for the laundry and guest room. I only intended to buy one. Gabe gives you 100% honest advice without being a pushy upscale salesman. He is 10+. Excellent company. Excellent product . Excellent employees! I am now 200percent healthier since the week or so they arrived. These are the best air cleaners on the market. The other best units don’t have it all like this one. The fan at 1 is calming at 2 it is. Low enough to watch tv in bedroom. 3 and 4 means the room is being cleaned so deal with it if you value clean air that elumintes the dirt and dust you will not be breathing anymore, not to mention the people problems that help your body rid it of nasty air. I had noney to buy them all. I can bo longer afford to live without the Alen Air cleaners.. The truth will always be just that the truth. You get what you pay for and good health to boot.
