Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The over all fridge has been great. The maker is a pain, I had to figure out how attach it to the top of the freezer, the off on switch is hidden and hard to find with out crawling in the freezer compartment.

Nice and roomy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator as part of a total kitchen remodel. We bought all Frigidaire gallery appliances. This refrigerator is so roomy I love the double doors and I especially love the extra middle drawer that can be either freezer or refrigerator. I also really like that. The water is on the inside edge of the door versus the front. We have hard water and if it were on the front of the fridge, I would have white build up all over the water dispenser overtime.

Needs a better ice maker

Ice maker keeps falling off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the refrigerator overall, but ice maker repeatedly falls off, now one of the clips that holds it in place is broken. It is only 6 months old!!! Poor quality and fastening method IMO.

We’re sorry to hear about the repeated issues with your ice maker, especially with the refrigerator being only six months old. We understand how frustrating it must be to have the ice maker repeatedly fall out and now have a broken retaining clip. We’re glad to hear you’re otherwise enjoying the refrigerator, but we agree that this is not the experience you should have with a new appliance.
As a troubleshooting step, please make sure the ice maker is fully seated in its mounting points and that the retaining clips are properly engaged. Avoid forcing the ice maker into place, particularly with a broken clip, as this could cause additional damage. Since one of the clips is broken and the ice maker has repeatedly come loose, we recommend having the mounting hardware inspected and replaced by an authorized service provider rather than continuing to reinstall it yourself.

For best results, allow the refrigerator time to stabilize after making a temperature adjustment, and make sure the freezer door is closing fully and the door gasket is sealing properly. If the freezer continues to feel warmer than expected or the ice cream remains too soft, the appliance may need further evaluation.
