[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this saw this past January and now its October and I just used it for the first time. I cut down 2 pine trees and this saw made quick work of that. I like that its a lot quiter than a gas model plus I dont have to mix gas and oil anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first electric chainsaw I've used, and I'm impressed. It is powerful with a light weight, small, and agile form. It will rappidly cut through a 12in log without becoming bogged down. Quick easy starts at the push of a button without the need of pull starting a gas engine, with it's warming up,carburetor tuning and cleaning. There is a noticeable half second delay from trigger press to the motor starting that sometimes throws-off my timing as I'm about to bring the chain onto the wood; but otherwise the tirgger response and speed control is excellent.
For tree climbing and trimming work, Ive made the saw even lighter and more agile simply by using avsmaller 2.0 Ah battery -- it has all the same power, just less run time, which is still plenty for that type of work.
