Purchased a 4.0 AH Battery. I charged it and got 20 minutes of run time on my weed trimmer. I just charged it again and when I press the button on the battery only one light comes on indicating it got only a 1/3 charge after a full charging cycle.

Hello Jackhes,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this product. Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. (1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. (2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. (3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction. Should you continue to experience a problem with the battery and charger, please contact Greenworks Pro toll-free helpline at 1-855-345-3934. All we ask that you have access to the battery and charger so that we can complete troubleshooting with you and gather necessary unit information.

This is my second battery I had to purchase in about 5 years. I’d give 5 stars but I was hoping the original 80V battery would have lastedlonger as I only cut my grass about 10-12 times per year and it’s a fairly small amount of grass to cut. Still, it’s better than using gas or a corded electric lawn mower.
