[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the 80Volt 16" Chainsaw for more than 5 years and 3 chains. So dependable! I'll never go back to gas. It still works like new. Cleans up easy, always starts and doesn't need to idle! The battery outlasts me, I keep an extra charged one, but never need it. Have all the lawn tools by Greenworks, love 'em!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used one time after charging. Battery on one charge covered my property. Grass catcher was subpar. It left a lot of grass clippings on the ground. Lawnmower cut very well;as well as my previous 21" gas mowers.

More than enough battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has more than enough battery to mow a wet, thick third to half acre lawn with the included 5 amp hour battery. The motor automatically spins faster when the mower senses thicker grass, which is an awesome feature that seems to work well and is predictable as to when it will kick on. If you’re tired of going deaf and buying gasoline, this is a good mower to try. I mowed my entire yard in roughly 60 minutes, same as my old gasoline powered mower. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Defective unit

I received this unit 2 weeks ago. The unit does not have enough weight to keep the blades engaged with the grass. The wheels push the grass down, and the engine RPM's do not create enough lift to pull the grass upright. I have to move all those lines of tall grass to get a clean cut (i.e, mow the lawn two times!) to get an even cut. I only use the mulching mode, and it leave a line of grass clippings that need to be cleaned up, so again the need to mow the lawn two times!). This unit is defective need to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
