The run time varies depending on the tool that it is being used in but also the load acting against the unit while in use along with operator technique and more. The run-time of a battery would depend on the load acting on the unit while in use (speed, terrain, unit height, grass height, and density). Please be aware that the more power being used from the lawn mower (i.e. lawn mower speed, terrain, grass height, density, etc.), the faster the battery charge will drain. Suggested, runtime for this lawn mower is up 60 min. (w/ included batteries) or up to 1 Acre. For a Battery powered Mower this is NOT as bad as you may think!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought one new, it was a question as I normally would have gotten a gasoline version instead but thought I'd try it as they were on sale at the place I bought it from and to my surprise it holds up to what I used to do with a gasoline mower! NOT BAD I'm impressed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Greenworks - 80V 21” Lawn Mower, 13” String Trimmer, and 730 Leaf Blower Combo with 4 Ah Battery & Charger) 3-piece combo - Green and been using this for a week now and doen't require much of effort to mow. However, the battery I got doen't hold the charge longer, for this I'll have to call warranty support.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
