[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is excellent mower. I am very satisfied. I purchased one more 80V 5.0Ah battery. Now I can use it two hours. Enough to mow 1 acre of lawn at a time.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Environmentally Safe, Effective, Powerful

Review of LMB455/MO80L06

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a reconditioned version of the 80V brushless 21" self-propelled mower with a 4.0 amp and a 2.0 amp battery and rapid charger. I have mowed my lawn twice and want to share my opinion. Previously I have had a Honda 21" self-propelled mower and a 21" Poulan mower (with Honda engine). I believe that the Honda engine is the standard for mowers. Kohler is very close in quality for larger horsepower engines. My Honda lasted 17 years. My Poulan still works, but after 8 years, the self propelled mechanism doesn't work (hence the new mower). What I like: No fuel spills/messy oil changes, instant start, quick charge batteries, cuts very well (though I think the blade might be a smidgen smaller than the Honda/Poulan 21"). I like the variable speed self propelled vs. the 1 or 2 fixed speeds of my other mowers. Even though Honda/Kohler engines are smooth and quiet, I like that this is significatnly quieter (probably a hair louder than vacuuming the carpet). Things I don't like: After engaging the self-propelled, when you release it, you need to move the lawn mower forward before you pull it backward (otherwise wheels lock and drag). I think that I just need to get used to the technicque, but this is a thorn in the side. Also, mower has more of a plastic-y feel from the lightweight wheels and (I belieeve)) plastic drive gear- hence I suspect that it will not last 8 or 17 years as a result, but time will tell. The blade is a thinner grade to steel (which I believe helps to extend batter life and reduce power needed just to trun unobstructec blade). This should equate to it dulling faster. I will not use the mower for my annual chopping up of forsythia and yew bush trimmings as I think it will dull blade faster and I am unsure if it has the sustainable torque to cut piles of these clippings (the Honda enginer "feels" stronger and even that can stall at times). General comment: I have a 4 amp and a 2 amp battery. Though it says automatic switching, on both of my mowings, the mower runs on 4 amp batter until drained. The mowere stops and then you have to re-"turn it on" and it restarts witht the 2 amp battery. It's no big deal, it's just not totally seamless. I have about 9000 square feet of mowable lawn. It takes the 4 amp batter plus about 2 minutes of the 2 amp battery. I am happy with run time and charge times. Value for the money: If I had paid full retail price, I would hesitate in a hearty recommendation and would have suggested an entry level Honda. At the reconditioned price with a 4 year extended warranty, I am happy that I have a very good mower for at least 4 years that will run flawlessly, store easily, minimize maintenance and do a nice job cutting the lawn. I would recommend keeping up with the cutting. This is being written in July. I have not had heavy spring cuts where weather has delayed cutting. I hope to be impressed when that rolls around next year, but have some reservations about power/battery life under those conditions. Again, I hope that I am impressed and will "wait and see." This is only my opinion and I recommend investigating multiple reviews and youtube videos and weighing them according to your needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am quite happy that I have finally purchased a battery operated mower. It is much nicer and easier to use than I expected. The mower package came with the battery and charger unit. I purchased it and put it together in one day, able to try it out to become familiar with how it operates. Amazing because being a woman without engineering skills and little successful experience with assembling anything. I'm looking forward to weekly usage and happy times with my new mower.
