I have only had the chance to use this twice since i purchased it. I was able to get an hour of operation out of my 1 year old 2A battery and was very happy that they runtime was as advertised. I was also impressed with how quiet the mower is. I was wearing some bluetooth ear buds and could barely hear it over my music which was not up very loud. Seemed to have plenty of power for cutting and the self propelled mode. One of my favorite features is the way that it stores. Being able to fold the handle down and store the mower upright is a huge space saver. I'd give it 5 stars but i need to use it over at least a season to see how it holds up. Great job Greenworks. (i also have the 18 in chainsaw and the handheld leaf blow and those work great too!)

I have used your lawn mower three times since I have received it. It has the power and RPMs to cut thru every part of my yard. My only gripe I have is the 4Ahr and 5Ahr battery were not available to purchase even for back order. Your website has limitations ...

The extended run battery allows me to mow the entire lawn without stopping. My hands hurt by the end of the mow though due to gripping and the vibration. I'm able to use the speed walk option on occasion which is nice to have. The underside of the deck is hard to clean in spots after mowing. I love having the option to store vertically to save space in the garage. The motor is slow to start and stop compared to our old B&D model and there is a high pitched whine that might bother some users. Changing the deck height while mowing is feasible. Overall, a great machine that does the job- just some tweeks would make it amazing.

We've used this mower twice now, and so far, we love it. We have a bigger yard - it takes 1 1/2 hours to mow the whole thing. My main worry about purchasing an electric mower was that the battery wouldn't last through the entire job. I ordered an extra battery for that reason. However, one 80v battery lasted for 2 hours of mowing! Impressed! I like the weight of the mower, it keeps it grounded and mowing smoothly. I bought this electric mower almost as a rebellion against traditional gas mowers, which we have had bad luck with. As of now, I am feeling like I won this round! Time will tell how well the mower and batteries hold up, and I'm crossing my fingers, because if things go well, I'll be looking into their snow blower!

Easy Breezy Mower

This is the easiest mower I have ever had. The 80v battery lasts the entire time to get everything mowed. The thing I like the most about it is how I can prop it vertically to either clean out the bottom, check the blade, and minimize storage space needed.

Magic Lawn Mower

For a single mom of a sprcial needs child who works full time this is a magic lawn mower. After spending 3 years in the hospital with her small son's cancer, the oppurtunity to buy a farm was irresistable. Following my heart, I bought 5 acres without ownin any tools. I am atually using this mower and my other Greenworks tools to tame a rough, country, 5 acre lawn. This machine comes through every time. Did I mention I weigh less than 100 pounds. I could never start the pull string mowers. Using battery power instead of gas is better for my little boy and me. Thank you Greenworks.

Love it, but...

Overall, the mower is great and I would never go back to a gas mower. Still, a couple of things bother me. The side chute clogs much too easily. In the real world you often mow when the grass is not real short or not real dry. The rear grass collection works well, but I'm old and I really don't like to manhandle the collection bag, plus where am I going to put all that grass? And, even more bothersome, the grass tends to spit out of the chute (when it's not clogged) in large clumps that are very unsightly. My old gas mower had a bigger chute and ejected the grass in a wider area that needed no raking to look OK. Why couldn't this chute be designed the same?
Another, perhaps minor, point: when you stop going forward and pull the mower backwards, which one does all the time, the self-propelling motor does not disengage instantly, but instead keeps the wheels locked for a short time, making it hard to immediately pull the machine backwards.
I could add many compliments about excellent design features: the ingenious storage position, the quiet engine, the powerful long-lasting battery, the surprising ease of mounting and dismounting the collection bag (if you use it).
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Quiet, Environmentally Safe, Effective
