Overheating Issue

I bought this microwave with the other Gallary appliances. I was so excited for the low profile and sleek design of this microwave compared to my last one - which was huge. The very first week I've had it, I had it on for 5 minutes for a vegetable steam bag and the entire power of it shut off completely midway. It took 15 minutes for it to cool down and turn back on. This has happened a few other times since having it and it is highly inconvenient. I would not recommend this product.

Excellent Low-Profile Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned full size units for 30 years and finding this oven with modern controls is worth the trouble of improving the backsplash above the range. Even though the door swings wide open compared to being 24" like the big models is not really a problem. Now we have the space over the range and the microwave is the perfect size for cooking, defrosting and reheating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had previously purchased a different brand of microwave in order to get the narrower one since Frigidaire was unavailable at the time of my order. I am so glad I returned it for the Frigidaire. I love the button that you touch the pop the door open, the 10 second click on, easy to see displays. I absolutely love this microwave. Just sad that I had to pay full price to get it!

Seems To Be Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this microwave for a few weeks now, I can say that I do like the options. The sensor reheat is my favorite. It works as it should without "cooking" the food. The stove light is very bright, and lights up the cooktop very well. That was a very pleasant surprise. My only complaint is that the depth of the oven needs to be just a little bit more. If you cover a plate with a paper towel, the paper towel will hit the back of the oven and the door as the carousel turns. This sometimes causes the paper towel to get pushed off of the plate, rendering it useless. But, for the most part, the unit seems to be functioning as expected and we are pleased with it.
