How to know when the cycle is done???

So far (day 1), it is a 3. There is no way to know when it is done without opening the appliance and looking for the light inside. The outside light is stable when working and stable when done. Poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to assist you with your dishwasher. This unit offers a "Clean" light which is displayed when a wash cycle is complete. The light stays ON as a reminder that the dishes are clean. Opening the door or pressing any key while the door is closed will turn the light off.

Great cleaning ability

Our previous dishwasher does not hold a candle to our new GE dishwasher. It cleans better and is more efficient.

I am beyond satisfied with my new GE Dishwasher! It feels like a quality machine and can hold way more dishes than my last washer. Everything comes out sparkling and you barely hear it running. 10/10 and 110% satisfaction
