The only good reviews in this refrigerator are from people paid to write them. Their response is to tell you to contact them. Like we haven’t already contacted them repeatedly. It does and you lose all your food and don’t expect to see a repair person for 4 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t expect to let to long. After researching it seems there may have been a bad batch of components used to make these refrigerators at the end of last year. Don’t buy one.

Do Not Buy

I bought this in November and the fridge and freezer stopped working in May. I purchased the extended warranty. They told me it is still under the manufacturer warranty. Samsung scheduled a tech. The tech never showed. After a month they said they would refund me. I'm still waiting. I haven't had a freezer over a month. The fridge is okay if I put a few dry ice packs in (which are very expensive). In the end I will have paid much more that the fridge was worth. I purchased the fridge on a black friday sale. So that is the price I was refunded. The fridge costs more now. Plus the amount of food wasted and the dry ice. Further, this product is too complicated. The manual is useless. I like the idea of Samsung products, but no more.

DO NOT BUY THIS

It died after 7 weeks of use. Service company is the worst rated one in the area. They rescheduled our appointment for two weeks out.The night before our appointment. We have already been without a refrigerator for 2 weeks. I have the parts sitting in my kitchen. I bought this refrigerator because of our last two Samsung were great. I wish I had looked at the reviews more. This one is absolute crap and many people are stating they are not having any luck getting it repaired. I am sadly disappointed with Samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HUGE refrigerator with all the bells and whistles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung refrigerator is so big it doesn't even fit in my kitchen! We had to use as a garage refrigerator! The inside capacity is so large and can hold all your needs! I love the bright led lights when you open the doors. The open door alarm that sounds will be great as my kids have been known to leave the doors open! I connected to the smart things app. It tells me the temp of the fridge and freezer and if a door is ajar. I can also adjust the temp if needed. Overall this is a wonderful refrigerator and I can't wait to continue to use it.

Just right for us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it seems to run great and is a nice addition to our kitchen. Would prefer water and ice accessible from the outside without having to open doors, but that's just a small inconvenience. 31 cu ft is awesome. Love the fingerprint-resistant exterior look. The LED light inside is bright and I appreciate that it's installed flat so that no valuable storage space is wasted. Shelves are adjustable allowing me to tailer storage to fit my needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worthwhile Upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator works great, and fit's perfectly where my 15 year old side-by-side refrigerator would be. It was interesting as the refrigerator popped-up on my phone as soon as it was powered, to allow me to use with Samsung SmartThings, was really a breeze to configure. I was able to configure the Power Freeze and Power Refrigerate Mode, to allow for faster catch-up as I switch from one refrigerator to another another.
While physically this refrigerator is only slightly bigger than my 15 year old side-by-side, the capacity upgrade is huge. I don't lose over 4" at the booth to a filter and coils. I feel like the older may have lost capacity in thicker body and insulation. My wife loves to bake and make cakes, and this is indeed very helpful compared to the side-by-side refrigerator which will allow for larger cakes to be placed. The handles are very easy to operate and both my 5 year old and my 7 year old spent ample time demonstrating how they can use just 1 finger to open the refrigerator. The stainless steel finish is something that we love. It's a large canvas to save family events, photos, calendar and more.
