A premium shave is so hard to come by. When we manufactured our Series 8 8417s, we expected you to not only love it but be blown away by it. We're so sorry to hear that it's not meeting your expectations but be assured this is very unusual. We found that by using a blade in great condition and it's properly cleaned and lubricated, it should just glide right over your face and remove those unwanted hairs. Didn't work well

A premium shave doesn't involve any catch-up, so we're saddened to hear that you had to go through numerous passes to get the shave you desired. Typically, when you taut your skin and shave against the growth of the hair, it'll catch a vast majority of your unwanted hairs especially when you're holding your Series 8 8417s from a right angle. While it may also take several weeks for your skin to adjust to your new shaver, we'd like to learn more and see what we can do about getting you the shave you crave. I like how it adapts to the face contours for a smooth shave. It has a long battery life and powered to last through the shave. A big convenience is i can use it in the shower. I would definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first electric razor. The Braun Series 8 is a very eye appealing product with so many great features. The first thing I want to mention is the Li-Ion battery which lasts about 60 minutes and also you have an emergency five min quick charge option that will give you enough juice for one shave. The back of the razor is rubberized, so it won’t slip from your hands that easily. On the back of the razor you have a precision trimmer for trimming long hairs that will come out with a simple push of release button. It has an amazing display that shows things like travel lock indicator, cleaning station indicator, low charge/cordless use indicator and the best nine minutes battery left indicator. The razor is 100% waterproof, so you can use it even when you take a shower with no worries. The floating blades help shave tricky areas of your face. It also has the option to lock the shaver head when you need more control over the process. It is also great that it comes with a hard rock traveling case, so you can take the razor anywhere with you without worrying about damage.

While the long-hair trimmer is pretty great, the main attraction on our Series 8 8417s is the premium close shave you can get. We're sorry you had to go over it with a disposable razor and be assured that's not what we expect our consumers to have to do. Sometimes though, to get an exemplary shave, you'll need to taut the skin and shave against the growth of the hair. The Busy Man’s Razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t ever used an electric razor before and this one was very easy to operate. It held its charge really well and was able to trim very well. In cleaning it, it was simple and very quick.
Though it isn’t the closest shave I have ever had, it was one of the fastest shaves I have ever had.
