[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great, highly portable laptop! Its battery life is better than I thought. Far better than the Dell XPS that it replaced. But note that to get to the highest, you need to pick the non-touch, non-highest-resolution display option. Honestly, the highest rez displays are hard to read on this smaller screen and a larger screen would defeat the portability aspect.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've purchased a new X-1 carbon every couple of years for the past 8 years or so. I think they are the best laptops on the market. This latest gen 11 is another gem.
I do think I liked the proportion of the 1920 x 1080 screen used previously to the 1920 x 1200 that are used in the gen 11. But both are very good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An absolute dream to use, keyboard feels nice, resolution is sharp, the camera has been decent for conference calls. I haven't used the speakers much at all, but I paired this with the mini usb-c dock and it's been great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this laptop for my wife who is a graduate student. She needed a laptop that would be easily worked from any location in the house, having the features she requested. She was overjoyed with it's performance, allowing her the freedom to work comfortably and quickly on her graduate studies. I would recommend this series of laptops to any one looking for a good value, lightweight, work/school laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptop is lightweight and appears to be sturdy. Hoping for many years of trouble free service. Current OS is WIn11Pro (23H2). Required a little tweaking with options and drivers to get Lenovo wireless mouse and keyboard combo to work out of the box. Need to work on drivers for external monitor resolution via laptop HDMI port.
