[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 is a great laptop. It works very smoothly. The keyboard is great and the closest thing to a normal desktop keyboard. Very good battery life as well. The laptop is very light and portable.

In the past year, sadly, it began to buckle under the pressure of operating system updates and increasing levels of bloatware that pushed its CPU to the limit. I simply love the fact that I could purchase a new one in 2024 and find the keyboard layout and Windows 11 interfaces nearly identical - so no learning curve at all. And it cost about the same in 2024 dollars as it did in 2018. Occasionally, I love technology. :-)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek, ultralight, with good power behind it. I got the X1 during Black Friday for work purposes and I am quite pleased. I upgraded the SSD to a 2TB model I had, which made the purchase even more worth it for me.
So far my only complaints are with all the subscription services Windows 11 is trying to push on me (which is not Lenovo's fault), and that the fingerprint scanner fails to work for me no matter how many times I set it up.
I would recommend this to a friend!
