The sound quality is good, and the display color and sharpness are a step above my former laptop. My only quibble is that the touch pad is too sensitive, so that I sometimes select an item when I only meant to pass over it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is supposed to be a fast computer and work well with Wi-Fi. It did not work with Wi-Fi. I had to take it to a professional that spent just over an hour to get the laptop to work with the internet. The CPU was slow and it was probably associated with the garbage programs added on the laptop. After deleting all the unwanted programs and the tech fixing access to Wi-Fi the computer is working. On 1Gig internet service per speedtest.net it reached speeds of 420m while my 4 year old desktop gets 790m on Wi-Fi in a side by side test. Given the problems upfront, the additional money spent to get the CPU to work, and its current performance for the money spent I can only give this unit 2 stars. I am very disappointed with all the problems with this unit. We'll see what the future brings in the way of performance and stability.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is solidly constructed, feels good in my hands and most importantly, works as well as other Lenovos I have had. It is speedy and has handled my requirements to date. This is my first *personal* Lenovo laptop, so I wanted one that wouldn't feel like ones I've used for work. It doesn't. It feels like I am using a machine that is a step above. I love it so far!
