I suspect my brand new Lenovo ThinkPad has hardware issues with the speaker. Every time I am on a video call with my colleagues, they complain of a terrible crackling sound on my end. The issue is resolved when I plug in my headphones and the sound does not come out of the Lenovo speakers. It is very disappointing as this is my third ThinkPad and the previous two were great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After looking far and wide for the best overall productivity laptop, I landed on the X1 Carbon. My primary uses for this PC are web browsing, writing, and general school/productivity work. This laptop ticks all the boxes for me. It has all the necessary ports for a seamless connectivity experience and important security features like IR facial recognition and fingerprint scanning to keep it secure. The battery life is amazing, as I charge it once every 4-5 days with daily light use. The best part of this laptop, however, is its snappy performance and best in class keyboard. Typing on it is a joy and the processor makes light work of almost anything non-graphical that you can throw at it. Its RAM and SSD are also super fast which makes the experience smoother. Lastly, its build quality is supreme. I am sure it will last the test of time and I intent to use it for many years to come. I couldn't be happier with this laptop purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Lenovo X1 Carbon laptop and I am loving it so far. Since I travel a lot for work, I need something that is portable and powerful enough to run large Excel models on. The X1 Carbon checks those boxes for me and is an awesome laptop for finance professionals.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The thinkpad x1 is nice and light and very easy to use. Currently my only struggle is that it does not allow a business Teams app download. Otherwise it is a great computer for my everyday business needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's super sturdy, runs smoothly, and the 14-inch screen is just gorgeous. The battery life is fantastic, too, making it perfect for me who is always on the move. Plus, it has great security features and connects easily. Totally recommend it!
