[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this computer on Monday October 26 to replace my Gen 6 that was starting to run slow. I love the fact I can customize to my needs especially add a SIM/ESIM which is great for the traveling work I do. The Gen 11 is just as light and portable as my Gen 6 model. I opted for the OLED screen which sacrifices battery but is really nice and vibrant and has a anti glare screen which helps with all day work. My complaint has to do with an accident I had two days after receiving the computer. I spilled cold coffee on the keyboard. It worked through the day but in the evening when I tired to start the computer it did not work. This was a terrible mistake on my part. However, the promotional video for this computer shows a large pitcher of water being poured onto the computer highlighting it's durability. My spill was nothing like what the promotional video displays. I have sent in for deopt service and hope for the best but believe i will be told there was water damage and may be charged to the point I will have to consider just another computer. Great computer but believe the representation of it's durability is highly overstated. I am back using my Gen 6.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Horrible quality. I have an x1 carbon gen2 thats had no hardware issues in 10+ yrs. What happened to the build quality? Ive purchased 2 gen 10 and 1 gen 11. 2 of the 3 have had a mobo warranty replacement in the first 30 days of use.

TERRIBLE Keyboard-- they got rid of the good one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Horrible Keyboard. I've been a Thinkpad fan for ages. My last keyboard (2019) was the best on the market. I don't know what in the world this nonsense is. I'm considering returning it.
Yeah, I'm confident the rest of the stats are 5 stars. But Lenovo missed the ball making this change. I could get a cheap laptop with a better keyboard.
*I'm a writer and I'm ALL about the keyboard. I literally choose my laptop based on the keyboard.

BEWARE - OVERHEATS!

I bought ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 11 Intel (14") with Windows 11 Pro a couple of months ago.
I had a previous generation Thinkpad without any issues. But this laptop overheats & becomes very hot to the touch above the keyboard when running Outlook, Word & a web browser.
