The feature that sets it apart from the others, is the way it runs cooler. No grabbing a hot metal computer. The material and the cooling system are 5-star.
It's fast - from startup to logging in to accessing web via wifi. And I very much enjoy how clear and sharp the display is. These old eyes can use all the help they can get!!

Brand New and Stuck on Re-boot

At my previous employer, I had a Lenovo that kept re-starting after going to sleep; for my new employer, I was given a stipend to buy a new laptop - I was trying to avoid purchasing a Lenovo, but decided to buy one due to the comfortable keyboard; I ordered the Carbon X; the standard screen is (1920x1200) is disappointing - you can literally see the pixels and the screen has an uneven tone (there is a darker area on the top right); I was willing to live with the bad screen; however, after one cycle of Windows updates, the computer keeps getting stuck on the Lenovo logo boot screen; doing a hard re-boot works sometimes to restart the computer. The laptop is packed and on the way back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
