Retro Gold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a fan of the original 1980s Master of the Universe series, the MOTU Origins series had a lot to live up to. I received the Ninjor figure, which - honestly - I didn't remember from the original series. The packaging, the comic book, and the figure all resemble that original line. Mattel did add updated (better) articulation to the Origins line. So while Ninjor looks like the original figure, he's much more poseable. I think I've found a new toy line to start collecting.

Loves Masters of the Universe and the accessories

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves this one very much she also has a few others, so this made her whole day. She played with this for hours, along with the other ones she has and the accessories are fun. The only comment she made is that it was hard for her to put the accessories on and I tried and had a challenge, but overall she loves it and the accessories. She told me the accessories are cool and she continues to play.

Blast from the past

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ugh this brought back so many memories of trying to play with my youngest older brothers collections. I was the last of 8 kids my mom was 45 when she had me so I was lucky number 8 with fully grown siblings. Needless to say none of them wanted their little sister messing with their stuff. Now the toys are back and I get to watch my own kids play with them. Well made and fun to pose and play around with.

Terrible features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't get some of the parts apart that the directions said were removable. Never did figure out how to use the weapon. Felt like Horde was going to break everytime we tried to get a removable part off. Mini comic book that came inside was well liked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Origins series combines the nostalgic and iconic look of the 80's Masters of the Universe figures with the modern articulation and attention to detail of modern action figures. They are great to collect at any age.

Masters of the Universe Revisited!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I remember watching MOTU many years ago with He-Man and his friends and enemies. There is now a new line of action figures based on these characters. Hordak is from the group The Evil Horde featured in the MOTU. This is a cool new toy with a retro look. The arms and legs are posable. My nephew is learning about MOTU and likes these products because he can battle good versus evil. Hordak is repeatedly dropped and crashed into other action figures and is still in good condition. This action figures are sturdy and sized well for kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the fiend of the ultimate edition. Lots of fun parts. Interchangeable arms and a face mask. Love the jacket that can be put on. The wrestling belt is also a fun item. Easy to play with. Good definition on the character.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice action figure. My son finds it enjoyable and keeps him interested. Would like to have homes or other things to go with it to play with. Maybe a car or airplane, some sort of set. Maybe something that shoots.
