Poor Wire Routing Design Led to Stove Arcing and Becoming Inoperative.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BEWARE - Dangerous Wire Management - I was more than happy to have my new Double Oven installed (PCWD3080AFA). All the great cooking modes and the larger ovens. We were getting ready for next weeks Thanksgiving dinner and our guests. Imagine my dismay when I used the "Lock" mode and heard an arc and snap from within the stove. The oven remained powered and locked and would not function. The oven was removed and upon disassembly found a poorly routed wire for the locking motor pinched between the "Protective cover" and the "Designated Wire Routing Groove" panel. The wire had pinched between the 2 and had arced (the wire was the fuse!). (See picture). Upon further inspection we found the welded/arced area. (See photo). Since the current wire routing design is inadequate, a proper grommet was installed to protect the wiring. (See photo). I understand trying to reduce the costs of appliances but the wiring routing design should never be compromised. Please take heed when you purchase this appliance.

Inconsistent temperature control

This replaced my older GE double oven and I cannot believe how inconsistent the heating has been on top and bottom ovens. So disappointing. I cannot trust that 350 is actually 350. I can be 50 degrees off and then next time be exactly right when it preheats. And I’ve never seen an oven drop temp so quickly when door opens briefly.

New Double Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our oven, but have had two problems since ordering our unit. First, the dealer gave us wrong dimensions, so we had to modify our cabinet. Second, the installer didn't consider the clearance for the handle, so we're going to see if a lower profile handle from a different Frigidaire oven will work. We appreciate the assistance of our dealer and Frigidaire rep to find a solution.

Nice but only works in 25° increments!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You would think that a "professional" double oven would have the ability to be set to any temperature, but not this one! Nothing in the literature mentioned that fact and only found out after it was installed. Sometimes I need to add 5° to 10° when baking, but I can't do it with this double oven. Nice looking oven and does a fine job, but very disappointed that I can't control the temperature to my liking. Would have been a five star review if it was able to do that, even in 5° increments. Very disappointed with my new appliance I will have to live with for years.
