I have had both Suunto and Garmin and hands down the garmin devices, app and platform are so much better! User friendly, something for everyone.

Workhorse Watch

I've been running Fenix X watches for years now with ZERO problems. They are my "daily driver" watches and when I say daily, I mean D-A-I-L-Y. These things very rarely have left my wrist - sleep, shower, workouts, hunting trips, backpacking trips, triathlon (that one miserable time ;) ), runs, mountain biking, snowboarding, surfing...you name it, this watch has been there and done that! The only downside I see is the proprietary charging connection. I'd love to see a wireless charge option on the next iteration. Other than that, this is the series of watch I will wear for the rest of my life!

Great watch for tracking health and fitness and outdoor adventures

This watch is amazing for tracking all of your activities and improvements in fitness. The VO2 max calculation has been tested in studies to be within 5ml/kg of having it clinically tested. The connect app is great for doing challenges against friends and tracking each others activities to keep each other motivated. I love the 32GB of storage which lets me keep the north american/western Europe and Australia maps onboard all at once. I only wish the sleep tracking algorithm was a little better at tracking the sleep stages and that the navigation supported automotive routing as in Spain my phone died and I needed to use it to find my way home but the bicycle routing kept routing me where I could not go in a car. Other than that I love the Fenix 7x pro. I have tested to optical HR against a chest strap during a trail run and it surprised me with how accurate it was.

Step up!

Garmin really stepped it up with the Fénix models with the fénix 7. I love the fact that they introduced the touch screen abilities, it makes using the hot keys a lot easier. The battery life is amazing! I have had the watch for just over 2 months now and I have only had to charge it twice. This watch is good for beginners and experts, there are so many capabilities with this watch it can get tailored to whoever is using it.

Exceptional Watch

I have been using this watch for several months now hiking, for work, and working out. This watch does a great job tracking your heath stats, distance traveled, intensity or your workout, and aiding you through managing fitness goals. This watch is incredibly user friendly, great for beginners or more experienced users that need more performance. The durability of the watch is also a big plus for me, I can't recommend it enough.

I had Garmin before and I went to an Apple Watch for connectivity. The fact that I can go weeks without charging is awesome. The maps are more detailed, this watch can do way more then I need it to!

Amazing watch for a variety of activities

The battery last all week and I use this for running, mountain biking, snow skiing, and I am able to use with our Nautique boat as well which is amazing. Mainly the reliability of the GPS, accuracy in my workout, and battery length...I would buy another if this one was lost. My outdoor active people, I find this to be significantly better then friends Apple watches (short battery life, not as good tracking)
