Great tool for any athlete

The versatility of what you can do with the fenix is unmatched. I purchased to help focus my workouts and branch more into running, and for the sleep coach. Having the insight and recommendations readily available on what exercise to do, when my body needs a rest day, or when to push myself has taken me a step further. I chose between three different run coaches and the type of run I'd like to shoot for. Garmin builds a training plan based on where you're starting, and works with your lifestyle. I can then go from my run and use my custom built workout for my strength training. I do like the options for workouts provided, like if you're in a hotel gym - Garmin has a workout for that.
Hiking is awesome as well, I can just browse trailheads in a certain direction, and it assists me with staying on the proper path. I've only just scratched the surface on everything the fenix can do, but it's a daily use item for me. (To the point where I have a pretty strong tan line where ny watch sits)

Great size with all the right features

I mainly use this for running and I've had a Fenix since the Fenix 3 came out. Bulletproof watches. Great for running with accurate GPS and a long battery life. Easily get 14 days out of the battery.

I switched from Apple Watch for the more fitness focused platform, the battery life and the integrations into other apps. Battery life has been outstanding, there are more features than I know what to do with and it's clearly very durable. My only complaint is there aren't many options to get a different watch band if you prefer something a little less masculine looking/wide/tactical.

I love this watch! The sleep scores are spot-on with how I am feeling, the flashlight is handy, and its nice to track my steps and heart rate. I also like the accessibility of the training plans, and how I can broadcast my heart rate to my bike computer.

This watch does everything I want a smart watch to do, plus the size is a plus. I had an Apple Ultra but hated the size. This watch does everything it did plus it does it at 50% the size. I loved the 5k coach. The garmin app and watch did a great job creating and adapting a couch to 5k plan for me. This is just one of hundred things it does.

Absolutely love this watch and the features it provides whether I am tracking long mountain days, backpacking trips, ski days, kayaking, city runs, or pool training. Easy to use interface and battery lasts even when playing music or utilizing tracking options. Also charges quickly and appreciate the solar feature as it supports my long trips. As a petite woman the small sizing options fit so much better than other brands but there is a bit of skin irritation for the first week or two until my wrist adjusted.

Great Watch!

The 1st watch I ordered had a defective battery. Garmin got right on it and shipped me a new one. I am loving it! It tracks so many things and it's going to be great for my multi day hikes. The flashlight on it is an awesome feature. Great for beginner or experts. Go glad I upgraded from the Forerunner 945 although I lived that watch too. Can't wait for all the miles this watch is going to accompany me for.
