Huge watch, huge returns!

Probably more than I needed but the sapphire case and the solar feature was a must! I lost my vivoactive 4 when I moved and never enjoyed not being able to read the screen. I missed having a garhead so I bit down and purchased this beautiful baby.

Needs Longer Battery Life for Ultramarathons

The overall watch is ok. There are two flaws that I wish were improved, first being the battery life. It sucks when in trail run on GPS mode. And it will die in the middle of a workout without any low battery warning. Died at mile 80 of my 100 miler with everything turned off except the trail run feature. I think I was only 15 hours in which is well below what they advertise. It never notified low battery and it completely died without warning. With such weak battery life it would be nice if the charging port was able to charge while still on the wrist. Second, the watch light kills your battery. Do not try and run in the dark with the watch light on. It will die in 40 mins. For the price, I dont think its worth it. Probably better to go with coros.

Best of both worlds

I had the Venu 3s and liked it, but was looking for something a little more rugged and robust. I am happy with it! I honestly love the display not being AMOLED or whatever those screens are. Gives me a more nostalgic feel. Love the function too with storm alerts. I was in the mountains a few weeks ago snowmobiling and this watch was great when I was up there!! It gave me storm alerts and tracked my location really well. Highly recommend. I haven’t tried the solar charging yet, but figured it was an added bonus!

Get the 7 before you're stuck with the 8

The Fenix 7s is the almost-perfect device for women who participate in serious endurance sports, but still want a "watch" that actually fits their wrists and looks feminine. The 7s has a great user interface, connects seamlessly with my phone, seems to be the most accurate device on the market in terms of mileage and altitude, and is the right size for a smaller wrist. Considerations: I have not noticed any difference in battery life with the solar charging. And Garmin really needs to boost battery life on all devices. I'm getting about 28 hours in GPS tracking mode and my races are mostly 36-48 hours long. Competitors deliver much longer battery life. While Garmin does offer other watches with longer battery life, they are all gigantic and don't fit my wrist (or that of most women I know). The new Fenix 8 is a poor option as Garmin loaded it with niche features that are irrelevant to my sport (dive and voice capabilities) at the vast expensive of battery life and budget. I'd say grab this watch while you can, and hope that Garmin actually starts to focus on what female endurance athletes want: battery life without silly gimmicks, and a watch that actually fits without slamming into the back of their hands. Right now, that's the 7s.

Im using Garmin watch for years. Tried different models. So far Love my new fenix7S Pro. Using them 24.7. Running, Swimming, hiking, walking with my dog... everything! They are looking good to by the way

So heavy

I am so disappointed by this watch. It weighs a ton and just doesn’t fit comfortably for running. My heart rate readings are really different than with my old Garmin, perhaps because of the poor fit. It’s always too tight or too lose. I wish I could send it back since it cost so much. The only good part is that it looks nice with non-exercise clothes.

Amazing features

Wanted something that could combine an Apple Watch and whoop the fenix 7s pro keeps me from having to wear two devices and the fenix 7s pro does just that with more features!
