Nice build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids aren't into HALO but they do love building kits. The quality of the set is to be expected, doable. It does keep their attention because they like flying planes and helicopters. It was a pretty easy set to build.

Neat toy

The two poseable action figures had interchangeable parts that we switched around with each play. This is just the right size for little hands to put together and play with. Highly recommend for the Halo fan as a gift or reward.

Awesome aircraft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking piece. I attempted to put it together with my 8 year old and he lost patience and was not interested. I ended up completing the set myself and it looks great however the side rails were a bit of a struggle because some pieces kept coming off. When attempting to lock in place it would seem forced and come off.

Great for Halo Collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Players of the Halo franchise will enjoy putting together this UNSC Hornet. It has 75 steps when building it and comes with 2 figures. The cockpit opens to allow a figure to be placed there. The other figure can fit nicely on either side of the aircraft. There is also a lever on top that rotates the thrusters a little. Some of the pieces are very small so you need to pay attention to detail when putting it together. Finished product looks sleek and is a good addition to any Halo collection.

Cool set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a cool set. It is 8+ and my 7 year old son did need some help putting it together. At some points it was frustrating putting it together because it would fall apart a bit while you were trying to get it together. But turned out really cool. He liked how the propeller parts could move back and forth. It also did break pretty easy while he was playing with it afterwards (easier than other sets we have had).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mega licensed products are really detailed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have helped my kids put together numerous Mega models, mostly Pokemon, and overall they are well made and the instructions are really good. The only issue I have is that even as an adult sometime the pieces are difficult to snap to gather. Otherwise, no complaints and the licensed products are great for kids recognition. We haven't put this one together yet but looking forward to it and displaying with other models

Nice set for display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mega Halo set is labeled for 8+ but my 8 year old son had a hard time putting this together my 13 year old son ended up doing it for him. It took my son a little over 1.5 hrs to put together by himself. The airplane once put together moves when pushing the lever back and forth which is cute. The little men that hang on the side are nice but beware they fall off super easy when you touch it. Overall a nice set but keep in mind the level of attention span your child has and if they can spend time sitting and following directions.

A must to any collection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MEGA Halo UNSC Hornet was fun and relatively easy for my son to build. Pros: This was built in only a few hours. It is accurate and scaled nicely. Small enough for little hands but also large enough to fit in the display area. The 2 figures that the set comes with really helps to complete it and brings the whole experience to a new level, achieving more fun for my son to play with. Cons: Some of the pieces were difficult to snap together and was a bit fragile once put together. Was not sure if there was an error in building it, so we tore it down and rebuilt it but came back to the same issue. We had to super-glue a few of the pieces to make it play ready. Once glued, this is now one of my son’s favorite toys and holds up to his active play time. Conclusion: It is realistic, age appropriate to build, compact but large enough to display however super-gluing some of the pieces in the set is not really what we like as my son likes to build and teardown and rebuild over and over again. With all considered, It is a must add to any collection and we are very happy to add this to our collection.
