Great Ken doll!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is really nice. The details of the font, illustration, and images are great. The colors are bright and nice to display on a shelf. I like the part that holds the doll is separate and can easily slide out without damaging the main box. It was not hard to remove the doll from the ties. The paint job on the face is clean. Especially the lips and teeth. There are no smudges. The hair is well intact out of the packaging.
The fabric is soft and a little thick. The stretchiness makes it easy to put on the doll. The stitching is great and the buttons on the vest and pants adds great detail to the whole outfit. The Velcro closure of the pants makes it easy to put on and remove. I like that the pockets actually works and I can pose the doll with its hands inside. The articulation is snug which is nice so it doesn't loosen up too quickly. The overall plastic material of the body is sturdy and the color and texture is even. The rubber part of the head is smooth.
The white shoes are just okay. The plastic is soft and a little thin compared to other Ken shoes in fashion packs. The white underwear is detailed and the "Ken" print is nice. Since the doll came with an underwear. I wish it didn't have a faux underwear detail on the body.
For a signature/collector doll, I wish it was fully articulated.

Styling jean outfit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this movie Ken doll thru the play rate and review program. Doll is well made and has real hair to comb. His outfit is real jean material. Wished there was a muscle t-shirt included though and appreciated the underwear briefs but wasn't necessary for them to be shown. Ken's expressiob was a little quirky.

Barbie the Movie Ken doll!! Playing with Ken

The doll design was beautiful I loved his face design a nice smile with his blue eyes. My neice and I played With him and she enjoyed playing him she liked that you are able to bend his knees and elbows

This will charm both kids, adults, and doll collectors of any age! Not to mention how beautiful the packaging is. Ken has a great range of articulation and stands well on his own. I love that he comes with a stand for an option to display him on the shelf.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Omg! I’ve been taken back to the superstar era of my childhood with this packaging and love it! The rooted hair, articulated body, and attention to quality in constructing the clothing is amazing . I really enjoy that this design of Ken has a great big smile and a side glance . He really does not resemble the actor who portrayed him in the movie, but this doll is still a MUST for any collector .

Not the Ken of my childhood

What a beautiful collectors item and or gift to give the kiddo after taking them to see the Barbie movie. Kens muscles are true to his character. The clothing in this Barbie is high fashion! This doll is super poseable which makes the kids happy when playing with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter received the Barbie the Movie Collection Ken doll in all-denim. My daughter and I are big Barbie fans so we were so excited to get the Ken doll since he is the Ken doll from the upcoming Barbie movie. This Ken is so different from the Ken dolls my daughter already owns. The biggest difference is the hair and posable body. This Ken doll is dressed in an all light washed denim top and jeans. He's rocking an unbuttoned vest, underwear with Ken written on the waistband and white sneaker shoes. His style is a very 80s/90s look. He's very stylish and fashionable. The other Ken dolls my daughter has have plastic hair. This doll actually comes with comb-able hair. It's a little stiff so not super easy to comb but the platinum blonde hair looks nice and I'm sure over time the hair will not be as stiff. It's the perfect hair for display though. This doll feels like a quality doll. This doll has jointed wrists, something that her other Ken dolls do not have. This doll can also be easily posed. I liked that feature. This set also comes with a stand for display and a certificate of authenticity.
What's cool about this Barbie The Movie Ken doll is that you can also get Barbie dolls from the movie as well. My daughter loves to have Ken play with the Barbie doll from the movie. It's great to play with or to collect.
