Great Lego set for Pokémon fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and daughter love Pokémon so this went down a treat in our house. It instructions where easy to follow and it was easy to build. They have had so much fun with this. They are now wanting the rest of them to go with it

A great toy for Pokémon fans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old is still building this toy after having it for a couple of weeks already, he’s taking his time it has very small pieces and it’s really detailed but when he’s finished a piece it looks great and he loves it! He’s very tempted to get more to have the full set! Instructions are easy to follow and it comes in separate bags for each section. The small Pokémon you put together look really cute and the omite is on a moving piece which makes it even more fun

Intricate pieces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys love pokemon and they love building lego. This is very similar, with very small and intricate pieces. It took about a week to finally finish because they're young and have the attention span of a fish. Anyway when it was finally finished they were amazed. It looked so good. My son didn't want to play with it once it was done, he took it into his room to display on his desk, like an ornament that he's very proud of making. It's not lego but it's mega bloks, they're very similar though, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference.

Absolute winner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My grandson (8yrs) loves Pokemon and when i gave him this, he tore into the box there and then. He was ecstatic that the figures were in there, and he could move the fire and the bridge. It took him a while to put it together. He's not stopped playing with it since, and he goes on and on to anyone who will listen about his Pokemon Lego set. You can buy different scenes for these that you can add together, so Christmas will be more Pokemon Lego for him. A massive win in my book. Highly recommend this

Hours of fun!

Great for accomplished building fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We was sent this Mattel MEGA Unboxed Construx Pokémon Forgotten Ruins to play with consisting of 464 pieces. I have 2 boys who are very much into building with some other small bricks (beginning with L) and are both incredibly accomplished builders. My 7 year old regularly builds from instruction and within his collection are 18+ which he has built single handedly and my 4 year olds collection which he can build independently includes those of 7+ so this product was perfect for them to test and review. First off it is worth noting that this set is compatible with other similar bricks (L.) . Very early on in the build (from the first page) my youngest struggled, leaving it to his older brother to build… My 7 year old struggled with the character builds and the placing of some of the bricks on the base particularly as the build went on. He also found it a bit frustrating as he would click one bit into place and another bit would click off (in particular the vines / leaves / bridge). I ended up doing those bits which were indeed very fiddly to prevent any tantrum. However the vast majority he built and enjoyed doing it. I would therefore say 7/8 is the right age and for anyone younger getting the set prepare to build it for them. There is a lever that the character can jump on flipping the bridge which the boys enjoyed doing. They both had a play with it and enjoyed playing with it, but as they do with all their builds it went pride of place on their shelf as they love displaying all of their builds. There are additional sets that you can connect up to it and have a huge Pokémon world which my youngest would love to have, but my eldest does not want to build it for him.. so I shall see what gets added to my youngest sons list and if more sets make the cut.. many thanks for sending this to them!

Excellent play value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great idea. Combining building bricks with Pokemon. My nephews favourite toys are Lego and Pokemon so combing these bricks (which are compatible with Lego) & Pokemon is a genius. This set contains 3 Pokemon figures and the set has moving parts. You can also connect other sets to this one which is what my nephew has asked for. Easy to follow instructions and 4 numbered bags . Excellent play value .
