Fun Pokemon Playset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8-year-old Pokemon fan really likes the Jungle Ruins set. He was able to read the instructions and put it together by himself, with just a little help on some small pieces here and there. It is broken into 4 separate bags, which was helpful because he worked on one or two bags at a time. It took him a few days to complete it, but he enjoyed playing with it afterwards too. It has one of his favorite characters, Charmander, and three total mini-figures. Of course, he wants to expand it with more sets to get more favorite characters.

Interactive building fun for any Pokémon fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son had a great time putting together this set! He is an avid Pokémon fan so he loved the 3 little figures that he put together - Charmander, Cubone, and Omanyte. It was great that the set was interactive, and you could push down on the lever to lift Cubone and it would also lift up the archway of leaves over Omanyte. Omanyte was also perched on a long piece that could move in and out to look like he was going under the arch and swimming through the water section. Other great interactive features included the fire and the arrow sign spinning.
The instructions were a little difficult to follow at times - it could be hard to see exactly where you needed to place a piece, so I stepped in to help sort things out when a few pieces got mixed up. One of the pieces would just not stay in place also on Omanyte’s shell. I got out the glue to hold it in place though and the rest of the set was built without issue.
Overall - this set was super fun for my son to put together, and I loved that it has interactive features that kept him playing even when the build was complete. This is a great set for any Pokémon fan!

Great for Pokémon fans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old son and 9 year old daughter both love Pokémon and this was a great way to spend time working with their hands building instead of mindlessly watching TV. They said it was challenging and fun to build.

Too many pieces!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were more excited when they saw the box then when they saw they had to build it. There was a lot of small pieces, if you have a baby around I don’t recommend it. My kids did get a little frustrated and they are in age range of 9-10 yrs old. They didn’t finish building it , it was too much for them. They do love Pokémon and thought it would be great to give this a try! They lost interest pretty quickly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fun building toy with lots of extras!

He was able to complete the entire set by himself without any help from myself or his siblings. It took him several days. He would rush through homework so he could get back at it. The highlight of the set is that it comes with several Pokémon characters. This allows him to play with the set long after he’s finished. It also has moving parts which make it more fun and imaginative.

Cool Pokemon Building Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very cool Pokemon building set! We love the clear bricks used for the water. The vines are bendable, so they are easy to attach to the bricks. The bridge is covered in leaves and moves up and down easily. The arrow sign can move in different directions and you can even spin the fire around. The characters are cute and very detailed. The packaging is really nice. It makes a great tray for sorting the pieces. This set is a lot of fun to play with, but it was a bit difficult to build. Some of the pieces didn't snap together as well as the others. Overall, this is a fun set with lots of attention to details.

Pokémon jungle set !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Pokémon jungle set has had my 8 year old entertained for hours. The pieces are smaller and more challenging for him so it has taken longer for him to finish . Once he finishes a set he is so proud! This was definitely more challenging for him and he needed an adult to help out!
