Halo Banished Phantom
on October 19, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Halo Banished Phantom set is fun looking set. The concept and thought is cool but the pieces are hard to put together and some pieces were missing. However the directions were clear and the bags were very organized. Overall it's a fun set where kids would enjoy to play with but the quality of the building aspect is less so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use and read instructions! Halo is such an iconic Video Game for Xbox, and now to include them into the Lego world is Phenomenal. Future Generations will be able to appreciate the individual steps and packages to make legos.

Great set with a few engineering flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shape and color are striking and the figures included are awesome. Unfortunately, several play features advertised are basically unusable -- the hinging roof, for example; the clutch power of the fastener exceeds the clutch power of the support walls, meaning it will break every time you try to open it this way.

Challenging, intricate Halo Infinite block set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Halo Infininte Banished Phantom building set is a challenging buding set. My youngest son, 11 started builing this with me over a week ago. He is not a building block enthusiasts but was excited for this set. The set is huge. That said after 2 attempts and maybe an hour total working on it, he decided it was too difficult for him. I went back and fixed errors he made and my oldest (17) took over. He faired better and loves building sets. He too found this set challenging and I found my self correcting errors he made. I ended up finishing the set and like the boys found myself back teacking and fixing things i misunderstood in prior steps. I love building sets with blocks and am well experienced. The things we found challenging were: it was hard to tell black from grey pieces in this set in the instructions, where the blocks were suppose to connect, getting the pieces to stay together (some would bend and others were hard to snap into place), step 16 it was hard to get the big black pieces to connect flat, step 93 was hard to get the piece constructed to attach and stay on, Step 100 my oldest mistaked a 5x2 red for a 6x2 red which made us back track a bunch later, Step 139 it was hard to attach the big piece and when we open it sometimes the whole piece falls off and has to be reattached, the build is fragile (opening and closing the hinged areas many times results in the pieces falling off) and the link for the othe optional build was a dead end. That all said, there were a lot of things we liked about the Banished Phantom. The set was huge ans my boys loved that it was big and challenging. I think with more time and working together it would have been less frustrating. My boys love Halo so the theme was spot on. We loved all the movable festures that it has. The ability to transform from a ship to a battle station is neat. The boys loved the figures includes and all the weapons. Although we stumbled a few times on the instructions, they weren't terrible. The included building tool came in very handy and I appreciated the poctures explaining it's different uses. All the pieces were included and there were a few extras, most which were small pieces easy to loose in the building process. I also loved the box it came in. The box openned up in a way you could dump the bag of pieces you were working on in to it and use it as a tray. It also sealed well for storing the pieces while taking breaks from building. Overall, we would give it 4 stars because it was a challenging, intricate and neat build. I would reccomend it for teens and adults as it was really difficult for my 11 year old and a challenge for my 17 year old and myself. I think an experienced young builder may still find themselves needing some assistance with the Banished Phantom. I would also say this is a great set for those whole like Halo and a big challenging set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hours of creative play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves to build and gets excited any time he gets a new Mega Construx set. He was even more excited than normal when he saw this package with the Halo Banished Phantom Set! It has so many pieces to keep him busy for hours on end. I love that he can get creative and use thinking skills to build 2 different toys with this set. The micro action figures are one of his favorites about this. They are very detailed and super cool he says. The fold out roof and cockpit make this even more great. Very sturdy pieces and actually are compatible with other name brand pieces as well. This set is amazing!

I bought this with hope that the blade master figure would be the best mini figure in the set and it was! Great quality parts.
