Hair and makeup Beautifully done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blue eye shadow was gorgeous. My daughter liked it. Really stood out with the skin tone used. My daughter loved this doll because her hair is coily like hers and she will wear her hair in same style. She likes that she is moveable and she was able to change clothes easily. She doesn't really bend well at waist so to make her sit looks somewhat odd with legs spread apart. She is a gorgeous doll. Hair seems like it will hold up to her somewhat rough play!

Great Barbie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice Barbie. My child enjoyed playing with it and liked that it was fully poseable. Dressing and undressing were much easier since arms and legs were much more moveable than a traditional Barbie.

Great representation for a young black girl. She took her on a shopping trip to the grocery store, and pretend shopped with her. She’s great for pretend play because her arms and legs move in so many different ways. Highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun doll that includes being able to bend arms, legs etc… My daughter is just learning to really play with dolls so I’m sure she’ll enjoy more as she’s grows her imagination(She’s 3years old and on box it suggest ages 6+). I picked this doll for her to celebrate her African heritage. She keeps saying she wants hair like me but I want her to see her own beauty and this doll is a great reflection of it.
I gave 4/5 because we had trouble with the stand she comes with. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity which is great for a Barbie Collector.
She’s been having fun bringing her along on car trips.

Girls of color can now feel accurately depicted and see how beautiful they are even if they don’t have long, straight hair.

Love this barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! I received this Barbie and can I say that Mattel has stepped up their game. She is stunning. I wanted a Barbie that my granddaughter could relate to and this Barbie is exactly what I wanted. She is a beautiful coco color with a curly thick hair, bright pink and blue outfit that is easy for little fingers to dress and change. She has multiple joints that makes it possible to animate your doll for play or display. Her elbows are jointed so you can bend or extend them. Gone ate the days of stuff armed barbie. Her shoulders are moveable and the legs easily move and bend as well. Even the wrist is jointed so you can rotate and move her hands. I couldn't be more pleased with this beautiful doll. She is now my granddaughters favorite toy. She takes her everywhere. I almost forgot to mention that that her legs are jointed and ankles as well. I love her purple shoes and beautiful makeup. If you are looking for a gift or to add to a collection this is a must!
