This was a customizable laptop and HP allowed me to chose exactly what I needed for an almost perfect laptop. The only thing I would have liked to have to make this a cutting edge Laptop would for the memory to be DDR5.
I had to replace my beloved old HP laptop, so old it was still on Windows 10. Obviously I'm not into new technology, so take these comments for what they're worth. I think my old HP was a 16", this is a 17." The screen size and clarity are great. The touch screen part is worthless to me with my cold hands, but it came with "the package." I love the back-lit keyboard. I want the on/off key where the delete key is. I'm still having problems with the size of icons on the ribbons, but I think that is a Windows issue, not an HP one. The one thing I notice whenever I pick it up is how heavy it is. I trust, like the other HP products I own or have owned over the years, it is a good value.
I was having an issue with my years old HP all-in-one computer so I purchased this one as a back-up and for travel. Set up was extremely easy. Most of all, I am able to run Microsoft Money legacy edition on this computer and it runs faster with Windows 11 than it does with Windows 10. I use Microsoft 365 which allows me to keep the files on these two computers in sync and backed up to the cloud at all times. This computer is extremely fast with an all solid state drive. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have owned HP computers for many years and have never been disappointed.
