The HP Envy 17" laptop is exactly what I was looking to replace an aging desktop unit. Setup was quick and painless and everything is working just fine. This the second HP laptop we have purchased in the past year and I will continue utilizing HP products
Hp has left a good impression on my daughter specially for crispy sound and picture and a good processor to switch between windows and it has truly met her expectations.she is impressed with the enhanced light feature and bang and Olufsen audio control. It is fast indeed.

When I received this laptop pc it's exactly the laptop I ordered, and was delivered a day early which I appreciated very much! My husband is a computer savvy so he did set up for me. At the moment there's no issue, and the core i7 is it is fast. I'm so glad I purchased HP Envy laptop 17-cr0747nr,17.3". I would recommend this laptop to anyone who ever is planning to purchase a laptop.
The HP Envy Laptop 17-cr0797nr is an excellent laptop. It is my fourth HP PC and second 17-inch laptop. I use the laptop mainly for word processing, spreadsheets, and PC gaming. I chose the 17-inch for the greater size of picture. I have found HP's Envy line to be problem-free, rugged, and easy to use right out of the box. My last Envy is over six years old and is still running. It was only replaced because of newer technology and a solid state disc drive. I found the customer service in both selecting just the right laptop and in completing the ordering very helpful. The laptop arrived a day or so before its promised delivery date. A great value for the money - lightening fast and solidly constructed.
I did all the research for two weeks and this is the laptop I found at the end of my search. The best laptop for my budget for its power looks speed and longevity. I started at Dell, but they couldn’t compare and their prices were much higher. I saw the ENVY as the best bang for the buck and then I compared all the Envys until I found the one that would satisfy me. And it hasn’t let me down. The touchscreen is amazing in it’s beauty and it’s touch. The keyboard fantastic, and the number keys on the right side are essential. Hard to believe you can’t find them on so many laptops. The speakers are good. I wish they faced upward so they don’t sit in my lap, but they are still good. If you’re just going to have one computer for the house and everywhere, for me 17 inches is the way to go. massive amounts of screen can hold anything and everything. Windows 11 is good. Just update the start menu with start 11.
Memory was not enough, older programs opened too slow. The speakers just plain ...well, the whole laptop vibrates from the speakers, and they are not loud enough, not impressed. The video card doesn't work as well as I had hoped, streaming TV stays low quality sometimes and doesn't upgrade the signal to high quality like some higher quality cards. It appears to try but, doesn't appear to be that good at it. It does start up quick, like 10 seconds, and the touch screen is very responsive.
It's beautiful and so far it's working perfect. It's my 5th HP computer...in as many years home computers have been around. The HP laptop I replaced has served me well for 7 years....and is being passed on to a student.
