Not completely accurate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy this is to use and it is nice to be able to check temperature in both the ear and on the forehead. The temperature is not consistent though. It gives a ball park reading but with the inconsistency it is hard to determine the correct temperature. It says it can test food and water temperature, but I could never get it to read them. I just don't find this to be useful and my son has basically claimed it as a toy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great for taking temps

Accurate, perfect for fussy toddlers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 2 year old son hates having me hold a thermometer on him, we literally have to hold him down. I ended up going with the Mobi digital thermometer and it's a game changer. I could seamlessly have it close to him and he doesn't mind or even realize I'm holding it over his forehead. The reading are very accurate, I tried it on myself with the probe thermometer and they both read the same temperature. I also love using it for my little ones bath time to check the water temperature before putting him in. Thankfully it has a memory of 9 readings to check if your child's temperature is improving over time. This is perfect for kids, adults, and water reading. It's very hygienic since you don't have to be putting it in anyone's mouth.

Great thermometer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thermometer reads fast and accurate and a great travel product. I prefer the ear method but having the forehead method for when they are asleep or just not up to having their ears messed with. I highly recommend it.

Accurate and great to use once you fully read up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by stating that the temperature on your forehead, temple, and ears can vary up to 3 degrees between locations. At first I was getting what I thought were inaccurate readings.
Then I bothered to read the instructions fully.This is a godsend for families with squirmy toddlers. the DualScan saves several temps to make it easy to chart a fever. you can also check room temps, bathtub and bottle temps to insure no overheated water or food touches your precious ones. Amazing tech!
