Versatile Thermometer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this little thermometer. My wife loves it as well. Dropped one star due to the time/date feature. I don't see the need for time and date on a thermometer. It actually added unnecessary frustration because I couldn't figure out how to set it and seeing it not being correct only added to my frustration. Enough of that though. Everything else is spot on. Simply remove the cap to check temperature via ear canal. If you don't want to get to close to your adorable but germy kid, leave the cap on and place in the center of forehead. Obviously there is a slight difference between ear and head reading but it is pretty close and accurate from what I gather. Works great for food and liquids as well. I like that you need not touch in this mode. You just need to be within one inch of the item. It is winter now but I know I'll use this feature more in summer during grilling season. The unit is compact but fits nicely in any size hand. Overall a great digital thermometer that will be used frequently with 4 kids running around our house.

Excellent thermometer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mobi dual scan infrared thermometer is a great multipurpose thermometer. The ear and forehead scan is way faster and less intrusive for taking my kids temperatures. The ear temperature seems to be more accurate in my experience. Overall the device is really easy and user friendly, it even comes with the batteries included. You can even take surface temperatures like the water temperature of the bath water. Overall this is an easy and convenient thermometer with multiple uses. I’d recommend this thermometer with no hesitation.

Easy and Conveinent

If you have a fussy baby or child that won't sit still long enough for traditional thermometers where you have to wait, this product is for you! The fast readout and ability to take the temperature multiple ways makes this product a required item in the medicine cabinet!

Amazing design

It is super accurate easy to use and has an amazing design. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a different handheld dual scan thermometer. This is definitely one of the best if not the best that I have used.

Inaccurate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hopeful for this thermometer, however I am disappointed. It should be noted that our family was healthy when we tested this thermometer and we used an oral basal thermometer to compare the readings to. We all took our basal temps and then used this thermometer and sadly, the readings were inaccurate. Our basal temps ranged from 97.6-98.5, and this thermometer consistently gave us each readings over 99.2. We attempted both forehead and ear measuring and neither of those readings were accurate or consistent. Sadly, this will not be a reliable thermometer for our family.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cool thermometer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neat type of thermometer that I haven’t seen before. It has the ability to switch between forehead and ear with the removal of the tip on it. But I also realized that it can also be utilized to check temps of food, which is awesome. You can program the thermometer with the current date and time, as well as a sleep setting. Results come back very quickly and can be switched into Fahrenheit or Celsius. Overall, this thermometer is pretty neat. I haven’t had a thermometer that offers all this does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the dual scan digital thermometer and was very pleased. It makes me much more comfortable taking my daughters temperature this way . It also can do many other things to check the temperature of her nursery and even her bath water was definitely a good investment for me.
