Terrible Battery

I am a college student and bought this laptop around a month ago. This it the worst laptop I’ve ever had the misfortune of using. The battery life is awful. Specs say 10 hour maximum but you’re lucky to get 3 hours. The laptop is also very susceptible to overheating if you charge overnight or just for a few hours in general which is really unfortunate considering it needs to be charged constantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The fingerprint reader makes it easy to access document and programs. The digital pen is a great tool for notetaking directly into the laptop. It was a solid purchase and the price was right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement gift for my wife whose older, refurbed laptop [not a Lenovo] was not cost effective to replace for battery and OS issues. After researching >20 brands-styles and sizes, she was undecided/confused and frustrated. I chose the Flex and She Loves IT! Quickly adjusted to the 3 way positions to use and hasn't lost the pen as it attaches securely. Mainly uses for her email account, internet info, and games. Battery charges faster and lasts longer than previous unit and has had no problems learning and using the new WinOS 11.
