SMART OUTDOOR UMBRELLA!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never thought that I would need a smart umbrella until I came across Above smart umbrellas. This things have one purpose but are really cool. The umbrella operates open/close with a touch of button, has built-in solar panel to charge the leg light and most of all the umbrella also has a wind sensor that will automatically close it if it detects strong winds, which helps to prevent damage. This is probably the coolest outdoor umbrella or item I have ever owned, definitely recommend.

The best Smart Umbrella ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in the desert, we are always searching for shade! The Above Height Series 11 is the best ever!!! We are enjoying the outdoors in the shade. It was easy to assemble…but be sure to scan all the directions before setup. It weighs approximately 20 pounds and is H 102in x W 108in x D 108in. The fantastic features of the solar panel, wind sensor, LED light and remote control need a little preplanning. The solar simply charges by the sun or a micro-USB charging port. The wind sensor has three speeds: 13, 17 or 21 mph. The LED light provides a soft glow for a little brighter than a moonlight effect for a romantic conversation or dinner. The remote control provides an option for the off and on of the light and the open and close of the umbrella. I love the wind sensor feature which closes the umbrella before you find yourself going out in a sandstorm to close the umbrella. The soft light provides illumination without any cords. The umbrella is made of Sunbrella fabric. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this great quality umbrella!

A smart umbrella? Wow YES PLEASE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a way to provide shielding from the direct sunlight that my deck receives, while also considering our frequent and strong gusts of wind. To complicate matters further, I don’t have a convenient way of stowing away conventional umbrellas when severe weather comes. I am so happy to report that the Height Series Smart Umbrella from ABOVE singlehandedly solved all of my problems! I had no idea that smart umbrellas exist, and it is so rich with features that it is truly the most comprehensively and intelligently designed protection from the outdoors I have ever seen.
Firstly, the standard qualities of an outdoor umbrella are done exceptionally well here. Opened or closed, the structure is extremely solid yet lightweight, and I have absolutely no concerns about the umbrella’s arms bending or the fabric tearing. The fabric is anti-UV and is stated to resist fading for at least 5 years, which is great. The fabric layers are tiered so that wind is able to pass through, but rain will not. A weighted base is not included, but any standard base should fit the bill without issue. I measured nearly 9 feet of height from the ground to the bottom tier of the umbrella when opened, so any sized adult will fit with generous room. The diameter of coverage is 11 feet. Minimal assembly was required and I was up and running in 15 minutes.
If we stopped at the above features I’d be satisfied, but the umbrella leaps ahead of standard versions by adding key smart features that I had no idea I was missing. A wind sensor is built into the top and triggers the umbrella to automatically close when a high wind threshold is met. Atop this sensor are solar cells that not only powers the remote control-triggered opening and closing features (and the wind triggered auto close), but also an LED light on the pole that provides a just-right amount of light. The remote control is nice, and the motor is strong enough that it does not require any human assistance.
Can you tell I’m impressed? The Height Series from ABOVE has helped transform my deck experience for the better and the quality of the product is very apparent even on first look. I am expecting to purchase another umbrella to compliment this one because after experiencing it I realized how much unnecessary work a conventional umbrella truly is. Awesome job, ABOVE.

Powerful motor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Above Height Series 11 Feet Smart Umbrella Sunbrella replaced my 9-foot umbrella that served me well but did not provide enough shade. With the weather warming up, I was worried that our days of dining al fresco would be numbered but an 11-foot umbrella sounded like a good solution.
This umbrella came well-packaged in a sturdy box with a remote control, solar panel, spare battery, and a set of instructions.
Assembly of the Above Height Series Smart Umbrella was very easy. I only had to attach the solar panel to the top of the umbrella and connect the lower pole to the bottom.
The Above Height Series Smart Umbrella has a number of features that make it a great upgrade from my previous umbrella including:
* A remote control that allows you to open and close the umbrella with the press of a button
* A wind sensor that automatically closes the umbrella in strong winds
* A solar panel that powers the umbrella's LED lights
* A built-in battery that provides power for the umbrella's LED lights even when there is no sunlight
* A remote control that allows you to open and close the umbrella with the press of a button

I have been very impressed with its performance. It’s very easy to open and close with a push of a button on the remote control, and the wind sensor has worked great, automatically closing the umbrella in strong winds. The LED list is also very bright and provides plenty of light when dining outside at night.
Overall, I am very happy with the Above Height Series Smart Umbrella. It is a high-quality, easy-to-use patio umbrella with a number of great features. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an effortless patio umbrella experience.

Excellent umbrella

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this remote control umbrella. We were in need of a new patio umbrella for our table and this has worked out great. The umbrella fits perfectly in our table and really provides a ton of shade for the entire table when sitting under it. The umbrella was also very easy to put together and set up. It’s also neat that it has a solar panel attached to it that can assist with charging. I would definitely recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smart umbrella is really nice! It has a built in battery and high efficiency solar panel. It has a wind sensor and ambient light . It has an aluminum pole. It is 11ft. It is for outdoor large space area. It doesn’t come with a base but does require one. It comes with a remote to help open and close it with a push of a button. It a wind detection and closes the canopies on its own so that it doesn’t get damaged. It is fade proof , stain proof, water resistant, uv proof . Overall this smart umbrella is very nice to have!!

Beautiful Solar Umbrella

The solar panel charges it all day to light up at night. I love the layered style. It looks great on my patio. It was easy to put up with simple to understand instructions. It dresses up my outdoor area really nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Above, outdoor smart umbrella is beautiful. The red one, is a rich red, the fabric is thick and sturdy. We took the biggest one and I don’t regret it, everybody has shade without moving the chairs to stay covered.
We first charged the battery through the micro-USB port, it seems that you don’t have to, the sun will provide the same result but we felt better charging it over night. Then we struggled with the remote pairing but at that time we didnt read the user manuel, so please, READ the user manuel before trying to make it work. The remote IS working, no need for new battery just read the manuel :).
The umbrella is charging via a solar panel too and the remote control make it perfect to open and close the umbrella.It is so easy for such a big umbrella, no human assistance! No umbrella in the face or back pain!. There is a wind sensor just under the solar panel which automatically close the umbrella. When open, there are a remote holder that you can attach to the pole and a light which is really nice for late diner with friends and family.
The base is not included.
I love this umbrella, such a perfect addition for everyday.
