Broke within two years

I really like the design, however, both kettles that I purchased stopped working within 1.5 to 2 years. My first one didn’t not have a warranty. I purchased the 3 years Best Buy protection for the second kettle, which also broke after 1.5 year of regular water boiling.
I was able to get a replacement but my left over 1.5 years warranty does not carry over. That means I have to buy a brand new 3 years protection again for the replacement kettle. Not pleased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

eventually lid broke/bottom leaks

we bought this kettle about 2-3 yrs ago. It looks great, but unfortunately, it has a number of plastic components. Eventually, the lid attachment broke. We could still make it work by jimmying on by hand. However, eventually the bottom of the kettle started to leak. We could still use it, but had to make sure there was no water left in it after every use, or it would leak all over the counter. Disappointing over all and I won't buy another one by this brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lasted longer than warranty

Liked the design and colour but died 18 months after purchase. Hope the toaster lasts longer
