I ditched the full pack for a day rides a while ago then got caught on a longer right out of water, so I needed something in between. After 10 rides (including shuttle / DH days). This things fits my needs perfectly for day trips. Barely notice it on your hips, easy access to water and pockets. I love this thing!

My first waist/lumbar pack. I was skeptical about comfort, but after a couple rides I forget it’s even there now. Love the sleek design. Plenty of room for snacks and a few essentials/first aid. Love the 1.5L reservoir and mag strip to keep the drink tube secured while riding.
Only small negative would be that packing a repair kit and tube would be tough with the reservoir full, but a seat or frame storage option (I use a Hot Laps bag/strap) easily remedies that and keeps the extra weight off your body.

Didn’t know I needed a hip pack until I used this!

Rode some downhill laps with this and it worked great. Phone is easy to access in the padded zipper pocket. Holds the perfect amount of water without being too heavy with a multi tool and a couple co2 canisters. The waist belt is comfortable and kept the Rail 4 in place on rough terrain in Utah.

Didn't seal where the magnet goes on the water spi

Disappointed the magnet keeps coming out when I ride because it was not sealed on the end. Not sure what happened if it was a rush making it but I always expect quality from Thule and definitely didn't get it this time.

I have tried several hydration packs but this one trumps them all. Thanks to the Thule engineers that designed this pack, I'm proud to own such an awesome product.
Fit: This pack is very comfortable. It fits snug around my hip and I dont even notice it during my mountain bike rides. The dual fastening system works great.
Space: I can easily fit hydration pack, first aid kit, phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, etc in this pack. It serves all my needs.
Ease of use: Strap and go! Easy phone access. Easy to put on and take off. And it breathes well!
Overall, I'm very happy with this product. Thule is always pushing the boundaries with their products.

This hip pack feels sturdy, and I wanted to keep it for the magnetic feature alone because it works really well, but the shape of the pack is very boxy, no matter if it’s empty or has anything stored in it - it is stiff and made me feel like I was carrying a very padded pad for a large tablet. As other reviewers mentioned, the hip belt is not designed for small/petite hips - too uncomfortable and there was just no way to pretend that the hip pack was there (different from the other pack I ended up buying a few days later). The pack was overall too big for me, and very uncomfortable on the hips, so I had to return this purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wish this came in more colors. Mostly the Lime Green color for added visibility. I TRULY luv the Velcro, I cut the straps and buckles off… just some tips in case there’s someone working on the next version (cough, cough, hint, hint, wink, wink)
