The rack was easy to put together out of the box. The rack is very sturdy. Love the handle at the top of the rack to pull it down & put back up while transporting. The wheels are nice to when you remove the rack from the hitch to store it.

This bike rack is exactly what I needed. I can no longer lift my bike onto the roof, but I was nervous this rack would be too heavy for me to attach to the hitch; it’s not. It’s very easy to lift to the hitch and easy to secure my bike. Thule products are so well made and this is no exception.

Pretty easy to assemble and install. I love the locking mechanism for the rack into the hitch receiver, secures the rack really well. The only feature that I wish it had was a way to secure the arm(s) to the bike rack when that arm(s) are not in use (the arm that clamps down on the front tire of the bike). When transporting 1 or no bikes on this 2 bike rack the extra arm has a chance to wiggle/move away from the bike rack...which in the upright locked position with no bikes on the rack these arms would move towards the vehicle. I used a velcro strap to keep them in place when not using that arm(s). A few things to think about when buying: if you need to buy a hitch extender (to move the rack further away from your vehicle) this reduces the weight capacity from 350lbs to 175lbs, may also need an anti-rattle clamp if you use an extender. Make sure that all 3 key locks (the hitch receiver lock and the 2 bike locks) are in the LOCKED position while the vehicle is in use, even if you aren't using the 2 bike locks, because the lock cylinders could rattle loose and fall out.

I bought the rack about a month ago. It was easy to install and performs very well. I was skeptical it could fit on my car but it fits great. It has great features like the ability to lower it so I can open the trunk. It's easy to put on, take off and store. I recommend it 100%.

Sold my other Thule rack so I could purchase this one for fat tire snow trails. Fits the bike except for the straps that are intended for a standard tire. So 900 buck in and wasted time Thule wants you to pay more money and wait for longer straps. Great way to spike the ball on the one yard line & sucker punch your customers. Last Thule product I ever buy!

The Thule T2 Pro XTR hitch bike rack comes with straps long enough for up to 5" tires. The straps need to be removed and reinstalled to give them additional length. This process can be found on page 10 of the instruction manual. Hopefully this information helps resolve your issue.
