Needs chest buckle strap - Strong Product Otherwis

I have a fat tire bike(Mongoose Malus) so positive clearance from wheels was crucial. After initial installation, the seat had contact with tires once loaded, so bought the Low Saddle Adapter to gain about 3 more inches in seat height. The width opening for the fat tires was perfect. I have used the RideAlong with my two year old for about two month. The recline feature is great, it is easy to assemble and it is very convenient for quick removal. Unfortunately the child seat as such is missing a key safety feature, which is the buckle strap across the chest, which prevents kids from slipping their arms out of from harness. Luckily any type of chest strap will help solve this issue(I used one from an old car seat we had), but for the price point, it should be included in the RideAlong.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Dual beam suspension is phenomenal.

I bought this a few weeks ago. My daughter loves it. The harness straps are really secure. The city paths in Aracaju, Brazil have a few rough patches the suspension really smooths them out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for our growing toddler

We've loved using this seat with our growing toddler. It's highly adjustable and the orange seat is very visible. He feels very secure/snug in the seat and loves riding around town with us.
It fit my (female, 5'6") mountain bike, road bike (wicked old 10 speed), and commuter bike. It also fit my husband's (6'4") road bike. Seems like it could fit just about any bike.

Excellent choice

Before we purchased this seat we watched YT and did research. We decided to go with this model vs the older one. You can adjust the angle of the seat, the straps are soft and are more comfortable for a kid. It’s easier to adjust the straps comparing to the older model. The back part of the seat supports neck for a long time ( unless your child is very tall). The seat is very easy to install. It took a while for my husband to get used to extra weight on the back. Very pleased with this purchase. Hopefully it will last for a long time for other kids to enjoy.

Good but some problems

I really want to give this product a 5 stars but we had couple of issues with it.
First we've notice that our daughter can slide out of the harness. It's missing a buckle on the upper chest to prevent that.
Second, we have a quick release system on each of our bike so both of us can ride with our daughter and its really really hard to put the seat bike on the system. Even with putting grease on the system, its a pain to change the seat between our bikes. It's irritating!

Do Not Use With a Carbon Frame!

This product cracked my bike frame. The fact that this should not be used with a carbon bike frame was not listed in the User Manual, so be aware.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I understand your frustration with the damage to your bike frame. While carbon frames are called out specifically in the user manual, Thule does recommend checking your bike and contacting the bike manufacturer to ensure it is compatible with a Thule child bike seat.
