I bought the XTR rear hitch rack. It is so easy to roll it over to the vehicle line up the 2" square tube and tilt it into place. It holds two Specialized Levo bikes with no problem. The rack works well with a 2018 4 Runner and 2015 Tundra Crew Cab with the bikes loaded the lift hatch and Tailgate are fully functional.

I have had the hitch rack for about a month. The ease of taking it off and putting it back onto my vehicle makes this rack ideal. Then, when you add the security of how the bike is connected to the rack gives me peace of mind with my bikes on the rack.

I bought this rack because I needed a more stable rack for my Ebike..this rack holds the Ebikes weight so good and is very stable I don't worry anymore about the Ebike on longer trips the rack is strong and doesn't move...the best rack I've ever had.

I love this rack. We used to carry our bikes in an old van. I loved how easy it was to wheel them right into the back. When we had to retire the van I tried to find something that would be as easy and there just aren't many choices. We finally went with a Subaru and that dream was gone. I bought this rack in desperation and it's so, so much better than I ever thought it could be--even better than the van. It's just so thoughtfully designed! It only takes seconds to get the bikes on. They're secure and nothing is rubbing against my carbon fiber or nice paint job. The dirt stays out of the car. I could go on and on.
There are only a couple of products in my life that are so delightful that I think about how happy they make me every time I use them--this is one. A home run for Thule.

We are outdoor rec (the whole gamut) enthusiasts and former shop owners who were Thule dealers. I have decades of experience with Thule and other brands of racks. This is the best hitch-mount rack I've ever personally owned and used. Solid, stable, secure, easy to load, unload, and use in all respects. The quality is outstanding, featuring thoughtful design, superior materials, and skilled craftsmanship. And, unlike some recent additions to the US rack market, it's Made in the USA at Thule's Connecticut factory. I highly recommend the Thule T2 Pro XTR.

Kind of scary -- buy ratchet straps!

I bought this to carry my wife's Specialized e-bike (55lbs) and my regular Giant Momentum Street, so we could go biking with our toddler out of town. I assembled it according to instructions fixed it to my Subaru Forrester, even double checking with videos on the web. It's very easy and the bikes themselves are very stable on the rack. Well within the weight parameters, a 90 minute drive on smooth highways seemed ok. But when I stopped I saw the "hook" had popped out and the rack and loosened and moved about a half inch. Good thing I didn't drive any further or the whole rack may have slipped out entirely. I bought ratchet straps for the trip home, which I would recommend for anyone carrying an bike. I'm baffled why this wasn't designed with some kind of "locking" mechanism to keep it from sliding out of the hitch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
