Nice Product but terrible install instructions

I bought the Thule T2 Pro XTR. The instructions are terrible. There is no text describing the steps. The cartoon images poorly explain how to install. Recommend throwing away the instructions and using YouTube. It wasn’t bad to install once watching the video. Would give higher review if instructions were better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm sorry the installation instructions weren't up to your expectations. Thule manuals are produced in our Sweden headquarters for Thule customers worldwide. They are translated into over a dozen languages, so they utilize as few written instructions as possible in favor of pictoral diagrams.
This is to avoid crowding the diagrams and translation errors. This is intended to make them as easily understood by anyone, regardless of native language, as possible.

This system has all the features I was looking for. First off the quality is of the highest standards and ease of use along with the safety features incorporated into the locking system provide peace of mind. I also appreciate the thoughtful design of the wheels to move the rack around. I am totally satisfied and customer service gets a 5 star as well.

I have now purchased a few cheap bike racks, and they last season or so before falling apart or bending so badly they are just garbage. So I decided to spend the extra money on a Thule and I’m so glad that I did. Super heavy duty components, great ability to lock both the rack and my bikes, the wheels make it easy to move it around because it is heavy… And it works flawlessly. I especially love the ability to tilt it with the bikes loaded, to get into my pick up. So worth it!

Pretty much perfect hitch mount bike rack

I hade the previous version of this rack and I have to say this is rack is such and upgrade/refinement from the previous version and I am super happy. This rack basically fits any sized wheel (27/29/26" Fat....) easily and securely. It installs in seconds, securely and does not move at all. Moving the handle to raise and lower the rack to the front of the rack is brilliant and all the slop of the old version is gone. The only things that I miss on the old rack are the locks on the arms which I am not sure are necessary anymore given the way the arms lock into place, and the weight of the old system as this one is heavy! I have the 4 bike extension. That all being said this rack is great, the bikes are secure, it functions perfectly and holds 4 bikes without touching the frame.

I bought the XTR rear hitch rack. It is so easy to roll it over to the vehicle line up the 2" square tube and tilt it into place. It holds two Specialized Levo bikes with no problem. The rack works well with a 2018 4 Runner and 2015 Tundra Crew Cab with the bikes loaded the lift hatch and Tailgate are fully functional.
