Turns out money can buy happiness. Between having peace of mind with the various locking mechanisms, and the ease of putting it on and taking it off, this is fantastic.
Got the Thule XTR and am so pleased. The wheels make a nice difference for folks that cant lift or carry this as its a tad burley. It does not wiggle and grabs those bikes so nicely. The ability to carry all of my bikes (Fat, Road, MTB) with no mods is awesome. Folds up out of the way the the tilt feature is a real benefit too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have been using the Thule T2 Pro XTR for a few months to carry an e bike and a standard MTB. Drove more than 1000 miles carrying both bikes and it was rock solid. Loading and unloading are easy. Only downside is that the construction / installation instructions are awful. They attempt to make them "universal" by using graphics instead of language and only succeed in making them unintelligible.
The rack is just so easy to use and pretty easy to install. It's lightweight and works well on my Subaru Crosstrek. I had to look up a video since the directions are somewhat vague. Overall what a wonderful way to travel with our bikes
