Good mouse for everything from gaming to just surfing the net. Only downside for me is the weight, it's too light.

decided to upgrade from the rival 5 wired to this and it’s the best decision i’ve made, makes gaming so much easier and is such a good mouse.

Nice and lightweight, fast charging, really dig the side buttons, they were a bit stiff to start off with but they soften up a little and you get used to it over time. I didn't think I'd like the honeycomb cutouts extending to the actual m1 and m2 buttons but honestly I hardly notice it, the plastic is nice and matte too so its got a good feel in the hand! A downside for some people, though it doesn't bother me, I think is the LED placement for the RGB, you're not really seeing it most of the time so if you want something flashy this isn't that. Overall a great wireless mouse! Good stuff.

The Aerox 5 Wireless impresses with its extremely low weight. It feels fast and effortless to move, perfect for both gaming and long work sessions. The build quality is solid despite the lightweight design, showing SteelSeries’ attention to detail.
Battery life is strong, though it lasts significantly longer when RGB lighting is turned off. The included cable is flexible and high quality, making charging convenient without feeling restrictive.
Connectivity is excellent—switching between Bluetooth and the 2.4 GHz dongle is quick and reliable, with no noticeable input delay.
One of the standout features is the number of programmable buttons. They are well-placed, easy to reach, and highly customizable through the SteelSeries GG software. This gives a clear advantage for both gaming and productivity, allowing precise control and fast access to custom commands.
As part of a full SteelSeries setup, the software integration is smooth. The SteelSeries GG software gives full control over settings, macros, and lighting, which ties in well with other SteelSeries hardware.

An amazing extraordinary mouse

After I upgraded from my old wired mouse to an Aerox 5, first and foremost I feel the happiest and the freedom,
After years of struggling with a wire that felt like a steel chain/shackles, thanks to the amazing dongle technology of Aerox 5 the word delay is further than the meaning of it, and not only it is very comfy to the hand, it is super light, slick design that also offers variety of customization and gaming advantage.
PS. I love the packaging of your boxes, still have the Lars from my wireless arctis nova 7 :D

Good hardware, barely save any settings

Additional buttons are very useful. Lightweight and comfortable, especially if your hands are sweaty. I would love to have a smaller version of this, but additional buttons are far more important for me. Bluetooth connectivity is pretty quick. 2.4GHz is mostly quick, but occasionally it takes a few more seconds.
On-board memory is lacking. When the GG app is not present, it will forget RGB settings and profiles. It will remember the polling rate, DPI and brightness.

A Very good mouse

I had previously been using a Logitech G502 hero and had numerous complaints with it like gliding having a lot of friction(even on a QcK Performance pad), too large, and a hit or miss scroller. The Aerox 5 solved all of this with a buttery smooth glide, easy buttons(though the „paddle“ button is slightly stiffer when pressing it down compared to up), and great battery on 2.4g if optimized correctly. I would highly recommend this mouse to anyone, even though it is a steep price.

I’ve been using the SteelSeries Aerox 5 Wireless for a while now, and I’m extremely satisfied with it. The mouse is lightweight, incredibly comfortable to use, and the wireless connection is rock solid with no noticeable input lag. The battery life is excellent, and I really like the customizable buttons and smooth glide. It feels premium, responsive, and perfect for both gaming and everyday use. Definitely one of the best mice I’ve owned so far — highly recommended!
