My review of my Eco flow investment. First let me start with the fact that there is no other camping freezer/fridge that can make ice in 12 min. However it comes at the top of the price range and the run times are a very gross exaggeration. You should tell true life experience not fairy tales of run times. My Glacier has been tested extensively. As with some reports the display is about 3 to 5 degrees lower than actual temp of the fridge/freezer. New unit with new battery first charge with extreme temp test fridge set at 15 and freezer at -2 with water bottles in fridge and fudge bar in freezer. Actual run time on battery was about 9 hours, not 40 hours. I did however make 2 sets of ice, first was room temp bottled water and it took 17 min to get large cubes, the next set was with less water and cooled from first batch, the second batch actually only took 11 min so beat the 12 min advertised time. I’m sure that 2 runs of ice contributed to the low run time. The only way I think you could even come close to 40 hours is fridge only with temperature under 30 outside. My test was in my living room at 78 degrees. Next test fridge at 25 freezer at 5 degrees ran about 10 hours and was at 22 percent, I then hooked it up to my free Mini, new gift for spending over 4k (thank you ecoflow). I went to bed at midnight after plugging it in to the mini, at 6 am the fridge was 99 percent and mini was at 33 percent. Went to work and returned around 5:30 and mini was dead, fridge was still at 72%, it ran until about midnight and I turned it off at 20 percent. So with fully battery on the mini and 22% on the fridge I got about 30 hours run time at 25/5 temps. Now 25 is low but it was actually about 30 to 31 according to my fridge thermometer. To set at 35 inside fridge you need about 30 on setting. Same with freezer for ice cream you need no more than 10 degrees so set it at 5 degrees to get 10 inside. Now next test is with the Eco flow pro in my garage that is about 110 to 115 degrees, we are in Vegas and the temps are at 115-117 July 16th and 17th. So another stress test. Very high ambient temps. Started at 4 PM Monday 100% on the Fridge and delta Pro. 6 AM Wednesday the pro was at 28% so I shut it off, the fridge was 100%. At 5:30 Wednesday night the fridge was at 24%. The test with the pro resulted in a 49 hour and 30 min run time stopping the pro at 28 % and fridge at 24%. Bottom line I don’t believe in the best case test that you will ever get 40 hours on the fridge battery alone. But you also won’t get a better fridge/freezer that makes ice in 12min.
I bought this about a month ago and have taken it on 3 trips. I love the ice-making feature and the size is great for camping. My only complaint is that it beeps a lot when I'm driving off road. The bouncing of off-road driving appears to impact the thermostat. Once I am at the location it runs with a modest amount of power, works well as 2 zones or one and is spacious. The ice-maker is great for cocktails!
I love my Glacier so far. I've used it on a few outings and it has worked perfectly. I loaded it down with some food, drinks, ice-cream and other frozen items set my desired temperatures on both compartments and it kept all my stuff cold and frozen during the times of my outings. The ice maker feature is nice too. I prefer the large size cubes myself they are bigger and last longer in drinks. I got good results using the plug in battery too. It lasted for about 20 hours running both compartments one as a fridge and one as a freezer. I also used it with my delta 2 and river 2 pro and got good results form both units too. Obviously the delta 2 powerd it alot longer because its a bigger unit. Overall I am well pleased with this product so far although I haven't used it heavily but I didn't buy it to be used heavily. Just for an occasional outing or in case of a long power outage. I would definitely recommend it to others as well based off the time I've used it myself.

Very pleased at how well the Glacier has performed so far. The battery function is fantastic. Took the family camping in the 82 Westfalia. Filled it up the night before with drinks and got it nice and cool. Unplugged and battery instantly took over for power. It stayed unplugged and running off the battery pack for 12hrs with plenty of charge still left before hooking up to 110v again. Haven’t tried the ice cube function yet (trying that out this weekend) but so far it’s simply amazing.

I have had this about a year now and have used it occasionally. Mainly I use it as a portable freezer. First off, don't even bother to get this without getting a battery. Seriously, it is just about worthless without the battery if you are going to use it for anything except at home and plugged into a wall. Second, the temps reported in the app and what actually is the temp in the chambers are wrong. They are consistently about 5 degrees F warmer in the chamber than what the display says. So, adjust your temps accordingly. Third, the quoted run times on batteries are pure fiction. If you plan for about 1/2 the quoted time you wouldn't be too far off, especially when using it as a freezer. Fourth, if you have it plugged into a car adapter and make repeated stops durning your trip, the unit has a very annoying habit of occasionally just turning off. So I have gotten into the habit of checking it at every stop. Fifth, sometimes when you shut the lid it seals so tight that it will not open without a tremendous amount of force. Each time this happens I use enough force to open it that I think I will be breaking the latch. I am sure this happens with the changes in temp inside the unit, however it seems like they could have designed a simple pressure relief system in the unit.
Don't get me wrong, I like the unit, and would probably purchase another one should something happen to this unit. I purchased this along with a River 2 Pro before it was officially released, so perhaps I got an early model and they have worked out some of these bugs. The River 2 pro on the other hand is awesome.
The fridge looks really good in person and seems to get to temp pretty quickly, but when the compressor kicks on it is kinda loud and you hear a lot of clicking sounds which is kind of annoying when you are right next to it.
I bought this about a month ago and used it on a trail. Overall the quality and features are amazing. Bluetooth connectivity, ice maker and dual zone is great. Power draw to start was 190watts and less than 20watts maintaining the temperature. The only issue is it turns off when your off road vehicle is tilted a certain degrees. It will take a few minutes before you can start the unit again. Overall I love the Glacier and hope the titling issue gets resolved.
Works great, and it is a real treat to have a Klondike bar waiting for you when you get out of a hike, trailwork, or kayak trip. :-) My only disappointment is that if I unplug from AC at 9AM, by the time I return home at 3 or 4 PM the battery is dead. Unfortunately, real life, conditions are less than ideal. It is in an enclosed car, which sometimes is in the sun. I do leave windows down a bit, but.. 'real life conditions'. Less than ideal, and the results are having to rush home after a trip to plug in before things melt.
