Beautiful, sharp display for a MacBook Pro with some connectivity issues
on April 10, 2022

I've been using this for about 4 months as a second display with an M1Max MacBook Pro in a stationary placement on my desk. (I haven't really had a chance to travel with it, so I can't speak to its usefulness in that regard.) I was looking for a small display to fill in under my main display and while there are lots of 15.6-inch displays available, this was the only one I could find that was OLED and 4K. It's a bit pricey (especially compared to the myriad of 1080p LCDs), but you definitely get what you pay for.
First off, the display is absolutely gorgeous. It is sharp, bright, and colorful with no signs of ghosting, bleed, or other issues common with cheap LCD displays. The actual viewable display area is 15.6 inches, although it does have about an inch of bezel at the bottom (the other sides have about 3/8-inch bezel). This display is far superior to my main display (an LG UltaFine 5K, which isn't really a high bar), except, of course, it's much smaller.
Although I don't ever use the touch feature, I have played with it enough to determine it does work on macOS. However macOS is not a touch-based operating system and therefore the touch functionality doesn't work perfectly with multiple screens. This means if you use another screen with this display the touch input on this display actually registers on the display that currently has the mouse pointer on it—the pointer does NOT move to where you touched if the pointer is on another display. As long as you make sure to move the pointer (with your mouse/trackpad) to this display first, it generally seems to work as expected. I don't think this is the fault of the display—macOS is not designed to be a touch-based system. Also note that this display does NOT recognize input from a 2nd generation Apple Pencil.
I was initially hoping this could be a one-cable display, but it does not seem possible to provide enough power over the USB-C data cable (or other cables, such as Thunderbolt 3 and 4 cables). For me, this wasn't a major issue because I have a USB power hub on my desk and I just plugged in a second USB-C cable to power the display. The quality of this display more than makes up for the extra power cable.
The only significant issue I've had with this display (and why it doesn't get 5-stars, although I'd give it 4.5 if I could) is that it sometimes won't establish the video link (over USB-C, at least) when waking from sleep. When this happens, I have to disconnect the USB-C data cable for about 30 seconds then plug it back in and it will work again. I usually disconnect the cable from the MBP side because I fear the USB-C connectors in the display might not hold up well to being disconnected and re-connected a few times per week.
If I ever return to traveling to a remote office I'm sure this display will become even more valuable to me as it is almost the same size (except thinner) as the 16" MBP and will easily fit in the same bag with it. I'll have to throw in an extra USB power supply, but that's still probably worth effectively doubling my workspace.

I bought this portable monitor for my Oled Nintendo Switch and I love it so far. Image equal to that of the Nintendo Switch Oled. Color, brightness and perfect black makes this the perfect monitor for gaming and movies.

I don't typically write reviews but this thing looks really fantastic. I tried it via USB-C on my M1 MacBook Pro and the desktop automatically expanded. I tested the touchscreen by dragging a window around and it was very fluid. Finally I swapped over to HDMI to see how it games looked from the Switch. Games looked amazing and the speakers were decent. This thing is great!

Pen doesn't work with it well. Makes screen go crazy
on December 19, 2021

Works good as a USB C Thunderbolt monitor and touch gestures work. Pen is not working well. I used the Surface Pen and other Pens that are compatible and both don't work well. The ink jumps around and then the one note application locks up and acts real funny as if random screen clicks are happening and it makes the screen flicker. I have another digitizer with a pen that I also use that doesn't do that. All my other Surface tablets with the same pen don't to that. It's just this monitor is an overpriced 4k. I wish I could make it do what it promises of using a pen. So I don't know if it's pen with onenote compatiblity or if it does it with all programs. It does it randomly at some point and I can't tell when to reproduce. I used two different pens but it keeps happening no matter what.

A pretty decent touch screen 4k monitor.

This is a great monitor to have for the REALLY good quality picture. The touchscreen is nice but not perfect. That being said, if you are the type of person who needs that second monitor with a strong resolution and decent touch screen this works really well. This works really well for me and my surface book pro. In terms for size, it is very thin and pretty light for something like this. It also fits in my laptop bag which is great. You are able to power it via type c to type c (video works through this as well) or you can use type c to USB A but you will need to connect video via mini HDMI to HDMI. Because this is a touch screen, you will need to plug in the USB cable in to get the touchscreen capability. I would recommend just using type c to type c as this allows you to get video, touch, and power in one cable rather than two. You can plug the monitor directly to the wall but you do not get touchscreen capability. It does use a mini HDMI to plug into the monitor. If you need to run a longer cable, you just have to get a longer mini HDMI to HDMI cable or longer type c cable. You can however use mini display port adapter and such to connect to the monitor. I did try an adapter to turn my hdmi cable to mini HDMI and it works fine. It can be powered pretty much by any USB port plug from what I can tell. I tried it with my gaming console USB and it worked fine. Please note that touch screen with only work with computers. Gaming consoles will not have touch screen capability. There were no issues with video quality from what I can tell. It does come with internal speaker. For the most part, the volume is pretty decent but not the best. It gets the job done for what I need it to especially when I am on the go. You are able to get pretty good video quality 4k out of this. But you do need something that is capable of 4k output. The controls are okay. The picture was pretty fluid and I did not strain my eyes play games on this. I also use it with my work laptop when I need to work remote. I am able to have two monitors pretty much at all time. It does come with a folding case that is also the stand. It is not the best and I would have preferred a better stand as you cannot really adjust it very well. You only get like one angle and that is it. You have to adjust your physical position accordingly which is the downside. In terms of touchscreen, the touch screen is okay. You can click, drag, and press play. It is also a good way to zoom in on certain things. It is not the best. It does not always register my touch and when I am dragging a file it sometime stop working so I have to click it again. Other than that this is a pretty protective cover. It is carbon fiber so scratches will not great through this very easily. The screen itself is not that easy to get finger prints on but I do feel it can get scratched pretty easily. I would wipe it down with just a micro fiber cloth if need. It works great for those long car trips as well if you want to set up a game station in the back seat. You can power this on using the car USB or battery pack and you are ready to go. The outer casing is VERY sturdy compared to other monitors. It is full metal. Overall this is a good monitor to have for a secondary or travel screen. You are able to plug in gaming consoles or computers. The computer will automatically detect it. It does not require a ton of power so you can pretty much use any USB port. I also have used this as a mobile repair monitor. The only down side is that I do wish the monitor had a better stand. The touch screen is really good but can be slightly of every so often. It does the job and is a responsive.
