I had such high hopes.

The wife and I were looking for a new dishwasher as our previous dishwasher was pushing close to 20 years and the internals were rusting.
Everyone we talked to recommended getting a Bosch because "they're the best". Well, this dishwasher is far from the best. We run our dishwasher everyday, sometimes multiple times per day, because we have little children and it is a crap shoot whether or not the dishes will be cleaned. Oh, and "how's the drying?" you ask, well there isn't any. This dishwasher does not dry the dishes.
However, I have noticed that it's usually the plastic dishes, again because of the kids, that are not dry. Most often the ceramics and glassware are fine. There is pooling of water on top of mugs and some glasses, but that's expected from a dishwasher without a drying element.
It's great that I don't have to worry about plastics being melted, but it's terrible that I have to prewash dishes and then dry them afterwards from a dishwasher that costs approximately $1000.
Look elsewhere for a better dishwasher because this one is terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
