Terrible odor!

I have a SHXM4AY55N dishwasher. It emits a terrible odor even thought the dishes have been rinsed and run through a cycle. I have cleaned the screen,Etc. I rinse dishes before loading......no reason this should have an odor. Almost ready to pull it out and buy another one. I have had Bosch dishwashers before...never had this problem!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch 100 Premium Dishwasher

Installation was pretty straightforward. This model does not have a 'Rinse' cycle which I didn't know before I bought it. It doesn't seem to dry very well.

A dishwasher so nice, we bought it twice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a dishwasher (not Bosch) a few years back that had constant problems. It would error out for more cycles than actually was the dishes. After replacing the same $150 part for the sixth time, we did research on a replacement and found this dishwasher.
One of the features I love is the very top, small things tray. This holds the silicone cup toppers our preschooler uses. It's great for serving spoons and grabber tongs... Things that benefit from laying down in the wash.
The trap is super easy to clean. On the old machine, the trap was not accessable for a weekly cleaning. We run the dishwasher about four or five times a week and being able to give the filter a quick wash is important. And when you can access it easy, it's a job that I don't mind doing.
The dishes always look clean after the wash - except for dishes with peanut butter or shredded cheese. Those two foods like to bake onto the dishes rather than was away. I'm in the habit of giving those dishes a little more pre-wash attention.
Why did we buy it twice? We moved. We left our appliances in our old home when selling. Whe we moved, the house had a dishwasher that worked well, but it wasn't the Bosch that I had grown to love.
What would I change? Not much. The one thing about our new model that the old one didn't do is that it's wi-fi connected. I've never needed to remotely start or stop an appliance, but I like getting the ping alert that the cycle is finished. We have an LG washer that does this, too. The ap has you name your appliance, so the washer is called Gerry Lee Laundry Butler. That ap alerts me "Gerry Lee has finished your laundry." (Or something similar...) The Bosch ap has you name the appliance also. So I called the dishwasher Scullery Maid - but the ap doesn't use the name... it says, "Program Complete Dishwasher The program is complete." Why give your appliance a name if your application isn't going to use it? I think the ap needs a little creative rewriting for its alerts.
I don't have any complaints about this dishwasher. It's dependable and quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our LG dishwasher of 15 yrs with a new Bosch model 100 dishwasher, the Bosch 100 Premuim provided very good value, reliability and much quieter than the LG. Highly recommend the brand and as other appliances need replacing will definitely put Bosch on the number 1 list.
