Best Dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Bosch 800 Series Dishwasher is the best dishwasher I have ever owned. It's easy to load, is super quiet to run and the dishes come out sparkling clean and dry. Even the plastic items are dry. The third shelf is very handy for utensils and small items like custard cups.

Nice machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty much does what it says. I can load after just scraping without rinsing. VERY quiet. I don't like the small utensil basket. I put things in the top shelf but those don't get as clean. I lucked out and the basket from my previous machine fits where two of the included baskets would fit so I'm using that instead. I usually run it when I go to bed so everything is dry in the morning or at the end of the cycle. Ask me again after some years have passed and I see how it performs and lasts over time. It's very expensive so it should be great and not need repairs. We shall see. I think at this price it should have a better warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch Dishwasher SHX78CM6N is alot different from our previous two dishwshers. Our first was purchased in 1972 from a different manufacturer. Dishwashers then were a little bit different, porcelain interior, door not practically on the floor. It was replaced, not with a new one, but an almost identical one about 10 years later as a gift from my brother who said the color did not match his other new apppliances. This one lasted a real long time, until Dec 2024.
We were looking for one that actually dried the dished, like our old one. Many dishwashers today don't do that.
I like our new dishwasher, but I am still getting used to the rack configurations, they are different from what I am used to. I like the silverware rack on top, I love the way is cleans everything, I've only had one item that didn't come clean, and that was a spoon in the top rack that had some baked beans left on, but it had turned over during the cycle. I love the crystal dry. I like how quiet it is, even though it takes three times as long as our old one.
There is only one thing that I don't care for, and that is how low the door and lower rack is. Trip hazzard?

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 800 series dishwasher is flawless so far (1 month). It cleans and dries exceptionally well. It has very flexible shelves for loading all sorts of sizes and shapes of things. The silverware drawer is particularly convenient and effective, and it ensures that all utensils are separated and thus thoroughly washed. The dishwasher makes almost no noise at all. Loudest noise heard is water rushing into the sink drain. Controls take a bit of getting used to, but they are both flexible and useful.

Replacement after 18 years
